DR George, feel better soon. I have a mild cold, but it is the Benadryl I took last night that has me spending this Valentine’s Day wanting to crawl back into bed-too sleep.

I must admit, the romance seems to have gone out of this day for us. Don't worry, only in the day, not the marriage

We have been apart on far too many Valentine’s Days, so just being together is special. Although separation had its advantages, Keith used to send me beautiful flower arrangements.

I kept the first special card I ever received, from my boyfriend in 4th grade. He only signed it from….., still it was a nice card. I'm sorry to say I don't know what happened to the first cards Keith gave me. Considering how many years I went without a special card, between 4th grade to 12th, it was very special.

Michael S- It has become such a non-religious holiday I’m surprised you didn’t celebrate Valentine’s Day. Were you orthodox?

I emailed Craig and asked him about the tradition in Romania & if he celebrated either day.

Craig has an exam for an extremely competitive fellowship program he wants very much. It would be a wonderful opportunity.

And Bryan has an interview at another university in Chicago.
