Perhaps in honor of the day, we should all carve replicas of Mount Rushmore out of bars of soap...

Have you all seen the Kia commercial about Millard Fillmore?

I have not shaved in three days.

For no reason other than pure laziness.

That is all.

I have made several trips to the alley to leave junk, which someone in a pickup truck will pick up. I don't know who said person is, but the pickup truck always goes down the alley and takes the treasures.

Other junks will be shredded; others have gone into the trash dumpster.

Shouldn't that be, "Buy a Kia and fill LESS"?     ???

Nice planetary actions this week, with Uranus being unusually quiet and inactive.

I hear prunes can help with that.

Yes, and the soap on a rope Millard should be available at fine outlets everywhere!   8)

I plan to eat enough candy to induce a sugar coma before our impending weekly staff meeting.     :P

Sounds like a plan to me...

DR SINGDAW - be careful it might also induce sugar rush conversation and you will find yourself in charge of two new committees and the office St Patrick's Day celebration.

It seems that Hindemith supported himself in his youth by playing in dance bands.

Also, Mitch Leigh studied composition with him!!     :o

I'm up, I'm shaved, I'm about to be showered, and then off to an early lunch with Mr. Graae at a coffee shop I've never actually been to.

After watching the opening number on the PBS website, I don't hold much hope out for liking Mr. Doyle's Company - the staging looked awful.

Ok, time for Los Angeles photos!

Upon my arrival in Burbank I drove over to Fairfax and Santa Monica for a mini HHW gathering at Genghis Cohen. The troup was lead by BK himself, DR Adriana, DR Cason, DR Singingnymph, and myself. Food was tasty and company was very good!

Here we see Mr. BK and the always cute as a button DR Adrianna

Happy President's Day to all of our favorite presidents!

Around our house, we celebrate it as Uncle Milly Day. Millard Fillmore is a great-great-great-great-great-great uncle of DR Sandra on her dad's side of the family.

Interestingly, our very own DR Megan can also celebrate Uncle Milly Day - he is her great-great-great-great-great-great uncle on her mother's side of the family.

Interesting. :)  Happy Uncle Milly Day DR's Sandra & Megan!

Uncle Milly's greatest achievement is having the first bathtub with running water installed in the White House.
