I imagine Irwin Allen simply had a tape loop whilst directing Jill St. John in THE LOST WORLD:

"OK, Jill, in this scene you...scream!"

I'm up, I'm shaved, I'm about to be showered, and then off to an early lunch with Mr. Graae at a coffee shop I've never actually been to.

Are you sure it's a Coffee Shop?  -You do know that "The Abbey" is not an Abbey.  And neither is the Mineshaft.

I have a nice anamorphic DVD of Kaleidoscope, which I wrote about after having viewed it.  I've always been fond of the film.

Lunch with Mr. Graae, as you might imagine, is delightful.  He wants to do a new CD and has a fun idea for one, so we're trying to figure out a way to make it happen.

A new Jason Graae CD would be nice.  It is always pleasant to hear him zing a little zong.

I remember when you wrote about it - but I didn't have any interest in the film then, thinking it was one of those Carnaby Street-Richard Lester type romps that made little sense and even less money.

I would think that directing Jill St. John in a movie would send anyone on a new career path.  8)

Or perhaps more like Mamie Eisenhower without her wig?

Or Charlie Weaver without his hat.

And they've just kept it to themselves?  How on earth did you learn about it????

For you, Dear Jo, it would be catatonic bliss.

It would certainly have made the director successful if the property were any good at all.  She was delightful in "Diamonds Are Forever."

Uncle Milly's greatest achievement is having the first bathtub with running water installed in the White House.

There's a commercial about that...some car commercial about Millard Filmore and his bath tub

Maybe I will get a Cat Dancer for Mr Merlin the Magic Cat at Ye Olde World of Wisdom.

Is Merlin a playful boy?  I imagine him as a wise old man with magical powers. ;)

Well, if they can use honest Abe to sell Rozerem, I suppose they can use Uncle Millie to sell cars...or bathtubs.

I watched a 1966 movie titled KALEIDOSCOPE

Warren Beatty and Susannah York (replacing Sandra Dee) are a nice looking couple

Has anyone else ever seen it?

I don't remember the film.  I love Susannah York so it is difficult to imagine I missed this moving way back when.

I'm having difficulty picturing Beatty & Dee together.

Obviously, since it's Monday night, I'm "working" hard at Breski's.
With this being a holiday, we did have a busy day at Borders, with loads of 40% off one book (with $20.00 purchase) today.
