Oh. Gee, that makes sense.

I assume they don't over-eat, so I can leave food in the bowl?

I do.  Some dry food, but my cat never eats it all.  She scarfs down the canned as soon as I put it down, but nibbles on the dry food throughout the day/night.

I keep meaning to ask about the cat collar.  Is it a safety collar?  I don't know much about those.  Before they invented them we stopped using collars after a few scary incidents in which we might have lost the cat if we hadn't been there.

Depends on the dog! All of mine that I raised from pups are used to food in the dish - they nibble when they want and don't get fat; Fletcher, on the other hand, can't seem to leave food alone and will die at a much earlier age from problems casued by his obesity.

Some dog trainers advocate only letting the dog have access to his bowl for brief feeding periods; dogs so raised learn they better eat it now or it goes away.

Now that the milk had been pulled, his stool is firming up.

Someone should put together a taxi cab company and call it Mary.  It would give "Hailing Mary" a fun, new meaning.

I mean, let's face it, "Hailing Checkers" sounds like someone is calling a cocker spaniel.

Exactly :).  My raising the cat had nothing to do with it.  I would not leave out too much extra food at once.  You don't want JJ gaining too much weight.  And as with stray dogs that need to add weight, you want to do it slowly.    I'm sure you will figure it out.  It is much easier to do with one cat than multiples.

Thank you DR Laura.  I've been wanting Keith to do that for about a year now-LOL.  He walked in a bit ago and said I need a new picture.

It is a little hard to see but he didn't want to remove the tower in the background.

I've spent the last 45 minutes TRYING to order something from Screen Archives.

The Superman "Blue Box" was made available for pre-order at noon PST...and the site has been overwhelmed with hits.

I've gotten into my cart twice, and then "timed out."  I reached my checkout once, and then "timed out."  Now I am at my "log-in" prior to hitting "submit order."

Pray I don't bust a gut!

I didn't know Superman had a Blue Box.

Back in the early 1980s when studios were cranking out a new wave of 3-D movies, some of the old ones started being reissued for daytime and midnight showings.

I went to a midnight showing of CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON in 3-D, and it was just wonderful. I never dreamed I'd get to see any of the old 3-D films in a theater since they hit right before I was old enough to go to the movies alone, but I got to see HOUSE OF WAX, DIAL 'M' FOR MURDER, GORILLA AT LARGE, and CREATURE in theatrical 3-D. (I kept hoping KISS ME KATE or HONDO would be brought back, but neither was.)

I was lucky enough to see Kiss me Kate in 3D at a special festival they held at the Egyptian theater, and it was wonderful!

One hour with LOST more than makes up for the two hours I spent with COMPANY last night.

No spoilers, I'm just amazed that LOST continues to grow as an intelligent television drama.  I also like the glamor that has been added to Kate.  The final scene was indeed jaw-dropping - though, I admit, I did see it coming.

I love Jane's newest avatar, too.
