So I'm a little late to the party...I just watched the animated feature The Triplets of Belleville for the first time...and enjoyed it immensely!

The other option for "spoilers" that I've seen used on some other sites would be to post spoiler posts in yellow.  It's harder to read.  Those who wish to read the post can simply click and drag with their mouse to highlight the text, which then becomes more clearly defined.    Just a thought.

I thought you were joking at first since I believe few people can easily read the yellow print.   Little did I know highlighting the text makes it readable. ;D I will remember this from now on.

Technically, the spoilers can also be done in white, which disappears entirely on a white background.

But that doesn't help us when the post goes onto a blue background.

Never mind.

Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library in Kansas is experimenting with video book reviews.  Here are 2 of my favorites:

At Knit's End

Austenland

Is this a joke?  It's difficult to know as I didn't find it funny cuz that voice was so boring, to me anyway.

What a beautiful picture, DR TCB!!!  You sure live in a lovely location.   :)

Thanks Coleslaw (be careful Woody may serve you).  I love this apartment and this part of the country.  I would be very sorry to leave it.

Us DRs could do YouTube video reviews of bk's books.

But our humor's a little offbeat; don't know how many new readers that would attract...

[hide]Just out of curiosity, what happens when we use the hide button?[/hide]

The above uses the "hide" button.

I thought checking the "hide" button on your profile meant that your screen name wouldn't display you as being logged in.  But I tested it once; it didn't seem to work.

Good evening, fellow Dear Readers. Today I went hiking with a couple of women from church; then DR Sandra and I saw "Twelve Angry Men" on tour, which reminds me why I don't want to be on a jury.

I don't think I've seen any of the movies that were nominated this year.  I've usually seen a few of them, but not this year.

If DR Sandra wore her Swedish chef's hat to the theatre, would the people seated directly behind her have to move?

I thought this was quite fascinating.

 8)  I'll have to send it on to a few people, beginning with my nephew.  When he was little he fell into the pool in their new home on moving day & was found hanging on to the side of the pool.  The next day the electric sliding pool cover was installed.

A few year later, while we were all watching, Bryan fell into the pool.  My nephew jumped in and pulled Bryan out.  Bryan had begun swimming lessons & I knew my nephew would get him so I was never concerned.

Der Brucer,

To have a cat that calm is a treasure. He sounds very much like my Freddy in temperment...I bet he would get along with dogs quite easily.

I'm just sayin'

I agree & would be very tempted if I lived closer.  Please stipulate JJ will be an indoor cat, hopefully with a family that will be home some some of the day as well as the evening.

DR Vixmom-OUCH!  Healing vibes!

The Girl Scouts have begun selling their wares today, at least today I saw them doing so.  It still amazes me they sell for $4.00 here compared to your $3.50.
