Would the "no kissing" rule still apply?

Oh, for certain.  MBarnum's lips could do anything BUT kiss him.

Lines of cars on a freeway behave very much like a string, loosely strung with beads, in motion.

I'm sure David Krumholtz could explain it better, and with neat graphics :D

All 43 cartons are now en route to Ohio, so it's now out of my hands.

Well, I'm off.  I want to work on my music before rehearsal tonight...which would be a good thing. ;)

Tomorrow, I have another doctor's appointment to see if I need antibiotics for my coughing and wheezing, which has not gone away.  It's better, but it's still driving me crazy.  If it's viral and they can't give me antibiotics, I'll just have to deal with it. :P But at least I'll have gotten a second opinion. :-\

I'll be curious to know the outcome, DR George.  My similar symptoms are now entering their third week.  I can't take much more of this!

I had the roasted seeds from the squash I cooked last week. I tossed them to the ground squirrels, but they were too fast for me.

We're having an onslaught of horrific weather here!  Rain.  Freezing rain.  Sleet.  Snow flurries.  Snow showers.  Snow accumulation.  Accidents.  Traffic back-ups.  More snow.  More snow to come overnight.

On the bright side, I could post from Brewski's tonight; there wasn't a password screen to get onto the net.

On the brighter side, I received a commendation from Borders corporate for my "outstanding work in January;"  I got a nice certificate, letter, gift card (money to spend at Borders) AND, in the near future, LUNCH with our store's general manager!

On the dim side, I'm doubling at Borders tomorrow, and the early morning commute is not looking so very hot. . . .

As someone said to me the other day, "At least in LA drivers are more courteous."

Sadly that statement is becoming less true every year.

I am watching the debate, but since it's MSNBC - I'm sure it will be softball questions to Obama and woman bashing comments to Clinton.  If that happens I will have to attempt to avoid puking on my computer.

Traffic may happen, but the Virginia Department of Transportation doesn't help. We have a great many visitors to this area--some are tourists, some are business people, plus many are recently-arrived cab drivers--and the signage, IMO, is awful. Coming from California, I couldn't believe how poor much of the highway design was here. I know that California roads aren't what they used to be, but California roads used to be far superior.

Sounds much like New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

I don't understand how anyone can become a cab driver without knowing the territory.  There should be some sort of test for this.

Tomorrow at 8 AM JJ will be delivered to the local Pet Supply Store where he will meet up with an agent from "Just Us Animal Rescue" who will transport him to a shelter in Maryland where he will be fixed and then paraded to various suburban Petsmart stores for adoption. They assured me that if they can not place him a a good home, he will be returned to us.

der Brucer
Only, since he'll be fixed by then, not all of him will be returned.

Mrrrow!!!

Traffic lasts about a minute here everyday. Not a big deal.  In Phoenix, I used to have to leave two hours early just to get to work on time. I hated it

While I was in the process of waking up today, I was listening to the reports from the North Korean concerts of the New York Philharmonic......I started crying too.

Philharmonic Plays in North Korea

*There's also a link to the audio/radio version of the story on that page.  -The daily ArtsBeat reports from Daniel J. Wakin are also filled some quite moving stories in regards to this historic cultural trip.

Darn, the video wouldn't load.  I'll try it later.

Did you read about the cellist who grew up in an orphanage in Romania.  There were three boys from Korea in his class who were returned to their home country.  The cellist hopes to find them.  I find it interesting the rest of his class has kept in touch.

I hope there is a happy ending to the story.

I came back from a nice dinner with my friend Val to find a nice email from Mr Jason Graae.  I also had a nice phone call about getting together with Tom Jones' wife Janet and the great Pamela Myers.
