Not even close, although at the performance I was at, Jackman went up on one of his lines, and someone in the second row was able to prompt him...

I was fortunate to have seen SINGIN' IN THE RAIN onstage in London, where it met with a bit more success IIRC than it did in NY. It was exciting to see Tommy Steele (sp?) live.

Yes, I saw it in London, also. I enjoyed seeing Tommy Steele, but it certainly didn't seem like I watching a brand new musical. Half of us in the audience were saying the lines along with the actors.
