An actor friend of Barry Pearl who was coming to audition for Genral Mills isn't going to come now - he did the drive to the theater and it's just too far for him - he lives in Valencia near Magic Mountain.

Isn't it Dinosaurus?

I suppose you've already asked Barry himself - might his current show be done by the time yours goes up?

Yes - with Dino himself at the piano.

Before I forget, I'll start by mentioning AS THE WORLD TURNS from today. No Luke or Noah. They're not in the previews for tomorrow either.

While I cooked lunch, I finshed watching GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD LUCK which I had actually started on Sunday night. This is a film that really stands up to repeated viewings.

Because of a stupid mistake I made in cooking the rice today for part of my lunch, I had to start again with it, and so while I continued cooking and eating lunch, I watched an episode of BROTHERS & SISTERS from the Season 1 box set. It was the one at the wine investors party where Nora and Holly got into a food fight.

Good for some laughs.

Then I watched MAFIOSO, a comedy-drama directed by Alberto Lattuada. I enjoyed the film, but its drastic switch from a feel good comedy of manners into something more serious was really jarring. I'm sure that's exactly what the director wanted the film to be, but what a bitter taste in the mouth one would have left the cinema with after watching the film.

There are about four supplements on the disc. I did get the first one watched, a 1996 interview with the director by young director Daniele Luchetti. MAFIOSO wasn't specifically mentioned, but it was an interesting interview.

I don't think any of the remaining interviews on the disc are more than 20 minutes long each, so I should be finished in time to watch IDOL tonight.

I did have about ten minutes to flip over to TNT-HD to see which LAW & ORDER episode they were rerunning. It was one with the talented and gorgeous Jeffrey Donovan playing a super-religious father who murdered a teacher at his daughter's school for teaching evolution. (Actually, he killed him because he thought the daughter was having sex with the teacher; it was actually the guidance counselor she was having sex with.)

ASSOCIATED PRESSPlease God - film at 11!

der Brucer

I know someone from Arizona with a camera and the only wild-life shots I get are bugs and birds :(

No film here, but I can give you Dick's cabaret's website.  Perhaps you can get DRs Laura and Kerry to investigate.

Is there a legal issue if they "fire" the guy for dancing at a gay cabaret?  For example, would they remove someone from the TV show for dancing at Chippendales or appearing nude in a legit show?
