"Little Smokies and Mozzarella Sticks" -- that should be a song in some musical.

Maybe I should have started writing that during my three hour wait at LGA.  ;)

And with this dearth of postings, I think it's apparent what DR singdaw brings to our daily table!

:D

And don't forget the temporary absence of the Fickle Flapapino!

But you still aren't posting phone numbers!

Well, would you settle for his address?  Asher Grodman is a neighbor of mine.

Hmm... The in-house restaurant here is a steak house, Porter's.  -And their 12 oz. "PepperLoin" looks awfully tempting right now.  Hmm...

Sorry to read that Patrick Swayze is battling pancreatic cancer.  However, it sounds as if he is responding well to treatment.

Where is everybody?  I can guess where Matt H is at the moment, but is everybody else (in all four time zones) watching Idol right now?

DR Ginny - I don't know if you have the same strain that I did.  Mine went away on its own.  After four weeks.

Well, only 3 more weeks to go...

Thanks, DR Singdaw.  My workday wasn't as exhausting as I'd expected, but I'm fadin' fast.

Nope, we're watching Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Hmm... It turns out that Artf@#ers not only has it's own WEBSITE, but they've also set up a MySpace Page, and a Facebook Profile.

*It also appears that after seeing the afore-"mentioned" production still, that some of the photo credits have Will Janowitz incorrectly listed in place of Asher Grodman for that photo.

Well, once "American Idol" ends in a few, I think I'm just gonna head down to Starbucks off the lobby and grab a latte and some sort of baked-good.

DR Jose - when we didn't hear from you throughout the day, I was afraid you were having some travel challenges.  Glad you're luxuriating a bit - you deserve it.

Speaking of Harry Potter, isn't Daniel Radcliffe coming to Broadway in EQUUS?

Have you heard the new 8CD release of the music from the first four Superman films?

I loved Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day!!!!!!

The movie in look and feel reminded me a great deal of Mrs Henderson Presents but it's funny, a bit bawdy, very romantic and quite moving.  The cast is excellent:
I hadn't seen Frances McDormand since FARGO and she's the heart of soul of the film
Amy Adams is wonderful and charming, and she gets to sing again in a kind of Monroe "I'm Through With Love"moment!
I liked Mark Strong as Mr Knightley in the BBC-Kate Beckinsale adaptation of EMMA, which I prefer to Paltrow's, and he plays the older sexy gangster type with real flare, but all of the men - Lee Pace, Ciaran Hinds, and Tom Payne - hve wonderful moments.

DR JRand57, the actress playing Katherine in the SHAKESPEARE RETOLD "Taming of the Shrew" has a wonderful role as a 1939 fashionista.

I cannot recommend this movie enough!

What happened to your steak dinner?

I believe I'm going to save that for tomorrow or Saturday - when I'm not so travel-weary from the day, and can truly enjoy my meal.  And wine.  :)
