Ummmm.....today's "Birthday Boy" is the, shall we say, previously alive Dennis Clancy, my friend from Portland who posted on the old board as "I_Luv_NY."  Dennis shuffled off this mortal coil several years ago.  I'm sure he still appreciates your wishes, however.   :)

I think that birthday wishes are still appropriate.  After all, I still wish Chita Rivera, Happy Birthday every January 23rd.

Thanks for asking--I'm definitely on the mend, but the laryngitis still is coming and going.  I've had to cancel several gigs over the past couple of weeks where I was slated to sing.  I'm hoping things clear out because I have a lot of stuff to sing for Palm Sunday this week (soooo early this year).

I have, also, cancelled several engagements where I was supposed to sing; but mine was because I didn't have laryngitis!

DR Jennifer, I tried the pillow you recommended last night for the first time, and it worked great for me!  :)

I use Neosporin

I alternate between Neosporin & Polysporin.  I have had multiple doctors tell me Neosporin can be irritating to some people.  Fortunately I have yet to experience that problem.

but as many times as you have to stand sit, go to the bench and move around the courtroom, I would think you would risk falling down in front of the jury.

And while reading this morning's "Dining & Wine" section of the New York Times, I believe I finally came across a food item, I don't have any real desire to try at my earliest convenience:

Is that anything like this item?

I can't say that it hurts. But i just thought it would have gone away by now.

I know it's totally superficial. But it is bugging the heck out of me. And i sometimes like to wear bracelets. And it's this big ugly red line right down the front of my right wrist.

I tried some cream this morning. and it felt sort of soothing.

I was just wondering if there was something i could put on it that might make it heal faster.

I ended the day with AS THE WORLD TURNS. Yes, today was the wedding day for Imira and Noah. Really gave me the creeps pledging eternal love while placing the rings on each other's finger knowing it's all a sham (at least for now).

Good grief!  Sometimes it takes six weeks to get thru a dinner party on a soap opera; and Noah has already gotten married to Imira??  that is so weird.

TCB, I turned off the computer last night before commenting....
I’m very pleased you are going to live, this would be a sadder world without you.

Thank you, Jane, what a lovely thing to say.

DR Kerry and I had tuna sandwiches at the Mary Coyle Ice Cream Parlor.

Oh, you two!  I hope Mr. Laura doesn't find out.  Not to mention any of Kerry's beaus.

On my way home from work, I stopped by Rite Aid to pick up a few prescriptions.  I walked out $340.00 poorer.  Thank God I have medical insurance.  The doctor has put my Protonix for acid reflux, and when they gave me that prescription, I complained because the doctor had told me that there was now a generic form of the drug, and this prescription was $130.00.  I said, "Wait a minute.  I wanted the generic version of Protonix."

And at exactly the same moment, the entire pharmacy staff replied, "That is the generic!"

Hmmm...

I just got an e-mail from a friend of mine.  It turns out he got married last week here in New York City at City Hall!  It was one of those "last minute" deals - which he freely admitted to.  As much as that was a surprise to me, I was also surprised to find out that one of my brothers had come up for the ceremony.

However, what really surprised me was that they held the wedding dinner at Per Se!  Per Se!?!?!?!?!?!?  And from what I can from the pictures, it looks like they partook of the Chef's Tasting Menu.  KA-CHING$$$$$[/b]  I want my seventeen courses!  ;)

Ouch TCB!

My generic Protonix at Rite Aid was $151.35.  I wish I could take Prilosec.  Do you get a better deal once you reach a deductible?

Thank you Singdaw.  I couldn't sleep last night worrying about his rising temperature.  Once I was sure it was going beyond 103 I fell asleep.  That was a little after 3:00 AM.  I think tonight I'm taking a whole Benadryl, which I truly need, and sleeping.

Nope.  However, to be fair, almost all of my other prescriptions range in price from $10 to $40.00.  I have never had a generic drug at this price, but then, I have never had anything work as well as Protonix.

DR td, do you subscribe to Cabaret Scenes?  I can send you a copy of the latest issue's brief interview with Jason Graae, if you don't.  :)
I would love to read it if you still have it, my pet.

Glad I didn't plan to fly Southwest!   I'm flying Frontier tomorrow.  I'm hoping that we have DirectTV on the flight from Denver to Tucson.  It's great to watch HGTV or FoodTV while in the air.
