I would welcome some vibes, but I don't want to alarm anyone with today's traumatic events; so, let's just say that I need a few injury vibes from my friends the DRs of HHW.

Burgers turned out fine, as did the fries and rings.

You have me alarmed and worried with that statement.  I do hope you will be ok, very soon.

And so, with the idea being
to make a taco and elevate it
from street food to something
you would expect to find in a
fine dining establishment
and one of the contestants says
that he could never think of anything
Mexican as fine dining
and I'm thinking "well, gee, you wonder
why you didn't win immunity when the
judge is Rick Bayless, who indeed
proved that Mexican cuisine can be
fine dining at his restaurant Topolobampo"
(where der B and I have dined
and indeed Mexican cuisine
can and should be be served with
fine linen)
Talk about an idiot!!!!

OY... I believe the past three days of auditions have started to take their toll... And I still have two more days to go this week.  -I highly suspect a lot of sleep and napping this weekend for myself... Especially since I have four more days in a row next week... And my parents and one of my cousins are coming to town next week too.  In any case...

I know there are a couple of posts I've been meaning to respond to today (and yesterday), but my mind is "resting" right now. Vibes, Congratulations and/or "Me Too's" to those DRs concerned.  ;)

Hi Vixmom.  My Mother-in-law is enjoying her cookies.  She needs to keep her weight up so I'm happy to send her a treat she likes to eat.  Thank you.

I don't know if I mentioned this here earlier... I decided to diet and get myself into decent shape before our August trek to Saskatoon  fro our neices wedding

I have been wacthing my calories  eatinglots of veggies and yogurt and salads and on March 1 I even joined a gym

(I haven't "done" gym since 1977)

I started this program on January 2 and am pleased to report I have dropped 30 lbs and three pants sizes

just another 30 to go by August!!

I'm back from a delightful dinner with our DR Jose: pizza and salad.  Very tasty and the company was, as always, erudite, charming, and witty.

Oh?  Who joined you?

DR  Vixmom, you did mention it earlier and I believe had lost 16 pounds, if I recall correctly. Congratulations!

...
So, you admit you "skipped" gym all through high school?  Is this the kind of example you want to set for the Vixter?

(Do the math, it's actually a complement!)

Bill O'Reilly has just claimed that the film Titanic is a remake of A Night to Remember.

That's above par for O'Reilly.

Sorry, Ron, but I since I doubt that you watch/listen to O'Reilly more than once a year, I can't count on your scorecard as being accurate.
