Cars - OY.... Let's just say in my life, I've owned some real lemons. Although, in those lemon's I owned 2 VW Vans, which were the best. At the moment I drive a 2003 Honda Element which I love. I miss the VW's though

I'm over at my sister's house with my little niece. We just came back from the doctors. She woke up with a rash on her cheeks yesterday. But they thought it was due to heat. But when it didn't go away today we went to see the doctor. She has something that is apparently fairly common called Fifth disease (i've never heard of it). Hopefully i've had B19 before. Otherwise there is a 50% chance i will be all red soon too!

And, apparently, we are having some 'trouble' with a group that his holding auditions across the hall from us. Not-so-nice comments have been made by some of their auditionees towards some of our auditionees. Needless to say, management was informed and they have been patrolling the hallways a bit more regularly over the past hour or so. $:-\$

By the way, we will be dining on tilapia tonight. I took out the filets out of the freezer yesterday afternoon and let them defrost in the refrigerator. They are now ready for baking and eating. I think we will also have wild rice and either spinach or green beans.

...And if you wanted to, you could layer the rice, spinach and tilapia in a baking dish, and bake all at once.

Hmmm, dinner. I left some chicken breast strips marinating in barbecue sauce this morning. DH Richard will figure out the side dishes and grill the chicken for us.

I'd go with the beans - both for texture and color.

Lunch started very late, so I was very late getting back. I had at least 90 minutes I could have used to watch documentaries on the INDY JONES set, but didn't know when my ride would be stopping by, so I just sat and waited. Argh!

Wow - I also had a Ford Escort....a 1984 Purple Ford Escort that ran for over 250,000 miles....and then I gave to somebody....who had it for quite some time after that. Great gas mileage. Very ugly, the heater was great. No radio though....

I did have time to watch a few things. I began with the last 20 minutes of THE TUDORS. Good overall episode.

DR Elmore, was "Madge" part of history or invented for the show? I always thought Jane Seymour was a lady-in-waiting and Henry went directly from Anne to Jane before Anne's trial.

I picked back up with the documentaries on the INDY set. I began with one on Eliot Ness, a brilliant early career that basically petered into nothingness before he died of a heart attack.

Next came a half hour summary of the life of Louis Armstrong. Very enjoyable, especially the clips of the young Louis which I hadn't seen before.
