Yesterday was a strange day. but I now have a brand new dishy washer. don't ask me how to use it. This one isn't so obvious. I shall have to read the manual. Apparently the lights stay on even when it's off, which makes me think it's running when it's not. Oy.

Oh DR RLP, I remember Hardy from BB2..oh yes I do!

And I am very pleased that BB10 will air this summer...although I do hope for more older contestants this time around, like they used to have.

BK often speaks of annoying errands. I had an annoying thing to take care of, which I'd been avoiding. Said chore is now done. the dread is worse than the doing.

Did anyone mention Harry Hay? I believe someone mentioned him on HHW the other day?

The lights on probably mean the dishes are clean. After you open it (and leave it open a couple minutes) they will probably go off.

This guy doesn't believe me when I say the lot's full. He's causing quite the traffic jam.

DR Sandra - can't you press some kind of button there that immediately punctures the jerk's tires?

But then he'd be blocking the other cars. Of course, if the lot's full I suppose it doesn't matter.

I think you're first today!

I threw his name out there a few days ago in reference to something or other, inspired by an episode of "Queer as Folk" in which Michael and Emmett participate in a "faerie gathering", an event started by Hay.  In the episode, Emmett has a "philosophical" encounter with Hay...and then learns Hay had died two years earlier.

I'm up - slept till ten, which I needed, and have been doing e-mails, packaging and postaging ever since.  Tummy still feels weird.

Let's hope for something better than this last edition that ended last night.

It always kills me at how "entitled" the jurors believe they were...so spiteful, and not a one of them innocent of doing exactly what the finalists did in their game play.

Were I to find myself in a final two position and someone like Sheila demanded to know what I thought I deserved to be there instead of her, I'd have said:  "If you were meant to be here, you'd be here."
