I can't imagine why...     ;)

I think he needs to eat something. ;)

-And preferably something without bleu cheese, melted cheddar, grilled cheese or fried potatoes or onions on it.  ;D

Thanks for all the tax info.

DR Elmore, instead of waiting 10 days for your accountant to return, couldn't you do what DR JMK did and talk to a nice lady at the IRS who can advise you what happened!

My accountant got me into this and he's going to get me out!

Jane,

Here is the UPACK link to the contanier moving service we used.

They charge $50/day to hold a truck on delivery.

I also could not get to page 16 at all last night...and I also cannot imagine a rant about 2 dollar bills or dollar coins. While cashiering for many years at Bi-Mart it never bothered me or any of the other cashiers, to my recollection.

If DR Kerry recognizes that I'm a treasure, then why can't all my customers be nice to me today?   :)

A. Most registers out here have no "slots" for either Two Dollar bills or Dollar coins.

B. Most customers would resent being given either $2 or dollar coins in change.

C. The irritating customers are the ones who pay their entire bill in on or the other!

(And since $2 bills are not usual tender, the customer needs to go out of his way to be annoying.)

I'm really bored of these tummy problems.  REALLY bored.  There was a little sprinkler leak outside at the automatic sprinkler valve.  My handyman sent over his guy and he's been out there for ninety minutes doing a whole lot o' stuff - I guess the leak was worse than it appeared.

WOW

Obama is on-air really taking Rev Wright to the woodshed!

(One hopes, no doubt in vain, that this will be the last we hear of it)

Nope - I was six years ahead of him.

John McCain and I were contemporaries, and I have signed photos and books by him.

My TODs : Miss Peggy Lee: I ordered 3 of the 4 new re-issues ; One, a collection of single from the 50's and 60's, has a '59 recording of "Where Do I Go from Here?", so beautifully recorded by Liz Callaway and, as nice as Miss Lee's Version is, I still prefer Miss Callaway's.The other two CDs are from the early 70's. Miss Lee was recording a lot of soft rock, etc, and she matched up with that type of material, mixed her bag better, so to speak, than Steve, Eydie, Tony, etc. The oddest combo is an up-tempo Losing My Mind, followed by George Harrison's My Sweet Lord(not on the same track); And speaking, of taxes, I've decided that if I get a nice Rebate, I'll order a Fall ticket for the Lincoln Center SOUTH PACIFIC(I just read-in one sitting-the new coffee table book on SP

I am embarrassed beyond belief! I have an email from DR singdaw dated 2/27/08 telling me to send the materials. Color me chagrined.

Now I have no reasons to grumble. Damn.
