Okay, now I shall be on my way.  I will, of course, have a full report upon my return.

BK, I think Kritzerland needs to release a limited edition soundtrack to the Michel Legrand-Sheldon Harnick animated feature, The Real Schlemiel (AKA Aaron's Magic Village).  Get on that some day when you're not busy, OK?  ;)

I have a meeting tomorrow. I would probably enjoy it more if I had a mint julep.

I doubt you would stay awake if you had a mint julep!!!

Larry - No, it was the annual end-of-tax-season party, but it just happened to fall on my birthday this year.  Loads of great fun and great food.

Good morning, all! I slept very poorly last night and as a result my schedule is off today. I am not happy about it.  I have some Victor Herbert writing to accomplish since most of the weekend will be tied up with Brain surgery.

I wouldn't bother with the Victor Herbert writing - he's dead.

One of my colleagues in the Packard Humanities Institute project keeps telling me I have to start writing it down.

I think you need to get yourself a video camera (calm down MBarnum) and a tripod, and instead of writing them down, plunk yourself down in a chair with the camera focused on you and recount your stories on film.  Some day we will edit them all together and release it as an art house film.

It's hot as hell in Philadel-phia!

DR td lives in the Philadelphia area.

Coincidence?

I think NOT!   :D

I live nowhere NEAR to Philadelphia!
Did you sleep through your geography classes, DR ColeSlaw?
You are probably closer, geographically, to the city of brotherly love than I.

My first paid employment was at Princess Pastries in Parnassus, Pennsylvania, on the outskirts of Pittsburgh.

Both are extremely attractive. Especially to look that way with no make-up and stinky in the jungle.

How does one look stinky?

Well, I'm leaving work now.  I don't have to be downtown to usher until 5:30, but I need to go home and de-lint my shirt, de-static my pants, and de-hunger myself. :)

AND still get downtown early enough to find a parking place.  Have a good evening all!
