So far the only books spoken for are Boys In The Band, No Way To Treat A Lady, and Promises, Promises, the first two for Michael Shayne, the latter for Singdaw, who was first to ask.  I'll do them in order.  There are real good books here, and real bargains - check out the list, otherwise they're going to a bookshop soon.

I did hear from them, but they sure did not seem motivated and the space seemed wonky.

ah - well, wonky is no good... but can always be modified into something serviceable... jeez, their ad seemed like they were really motivated - teaches us not to believe everything we read!

I think I'm gonna write a plug for Stage Beauty for FineArtsLA.com... after all, it has Shakespeare, Purcell, other period music, ME, fa chrissakes... one of the perks of being the managing editor...

I must say, DR JoseSPiano, you're cramming quite a bit of lovely things into your brief visit!

What?  Is he sharing personal information with you that he's not posting to the forum???

Re book list - if you are interested in any titles, just drop me a line at kritzerland at aol dot com and I'll confirm availability and tell you what to do from there.

BK, I hope you will forgive duplicate e-mails regarding the books.  AOL did want to send my e-mail, and then I sent it you instead of Kritzerland - hopefully one of the e-mails got to you.

DR TCB - I am so glad you had previously told us about the MagicJack.

Otherwise, I might have had a different impression altogether as to what sort of product it might be. ;)

In that case I would have said:

;D ;D ;D ;D  I got my MagicJack!!!   ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

The thesis presentations went great on Friday and Saturday -- so a weight has been lifted. Both audiences were raving about the theatre-in-the-round, especially the way we blocked it, for Parched, my adaptation of Thirst....

Congratulations, Miss Karen!! :D
