singdaw - Just watch.  Thanks to your paraphrasing, someone's going to get confused and think I'm not going to Issaquah at all.

:)

FJL, I am so sorry that you won't be coming to Issaquah after all.

I went for a hike today. I forgot my camera & got these photos from our local newspaper.

I'm quite tired, and yet I can't even sit on my couch like so much fish until at least eight o'clock this very evening.

I had mac and cheese for lunch.  It was quite tasty although not traditional - this had big ol' shell pasta.

You ain't the only one feeling that way about CRUISING, though my appreciation of that film has only increased as the years have passed.  I positively loathed it when I saw it on its opening day, in fact until a few years ago, I felt about CRUISING the same way that DR tomovoz feels about BLOOD BROTHERS. . .

Once while walking Minx in Myrtle Beach, we were accosted by a swarm of swallows, they weren't pecking at us or anything like that, they were just flying about us in the hundreds; the one time in my life I truly felt like I was in Hitchcock's movie. . . .

Oh yeah!  What about that run-down motel that you own?

Lucky BK can work at his piano!

On a very positive note, though, Mr. Tuner said that the worth of this particular Baldwin piano is well into three thousand dollars (which is FAR LESS than his tuning fee).   ;D

Did I read that correctly?  It is going to cost you over three thousand dollars to get your piano tuned?

It was a beautiful perfect day in Ashland.  We decided to take Sherlock & eat in town for the first time this year.  A volunteer policewoman stopped and said dogs were not permitted at the outside eating area.  Keith asked why and she said because some people don't like it.  Of course almost everyone passing smiled at him as they went by.  The family at the table next to us enjoyed the beautiful, well behaved dog next to them.

At least she didn't tell us to leave, just not to do it again.  I don't know what she will do next time she sees us there.

Incorrectly read; should I wish to sell this piano (and I don't) I could start the asking price at approximately $3200.00. . . . :o

. . .of course if I received such a payment for a piano, I could purchase a motel, hang up the VACANCY sign and invite guests to have a small sandwich in the parlor before their shower.

DR td - so far as I can tell, the Signature Collection is the red box, the Masterpiece Collection is the black box, and between them they have most of Hitchock's mature films.  Then there is an Ultimate collection; a white box of early stuff in the public domain.

I did not suffer our last Prime Minster.  I have hopes that this one has a conscience and a soul and compassion.

Thank you DR Jane.  Now the holes in the wall and the floor need to be repaired.

(too many entry points for td's displaced mice)
