I have deleted MY posts because the system allows me to do so,
because...; for some personal reasons i'm in a pea mood -- bad mood!,

and because we've discussed that some time ago - over a year, i believe -- I'm one of those people who don't have a "fetichism" about that darn # of posts!

we express ourselves becuause we have something to say and NOT because we have to reach a ratio of posts!
some others have been "upset" like me by that in the past and don't even post anymore!

SO.... by deleting my "contribution" to the "cause" tonight, i'm showing how ludicrous it is to value the number of things! And to show that i was posting quite some!

"Not fair to the board"??? What is that jargon!
We post to be fair to the board?????

I'm here to have FUN, not to be counted! i'm not a number! i'm not a machine!
i'm a human being!

Well, i was not having fun anymore and i'm not having fun now either!

But i see that people are posting again and that we have loads of things to read!

As ei've said some 12 hours ago.....

DON'T MIND ME!

Please!

Nobody said you're a number or a machine, dear M. Francois. Part of the "fun" is getting past the dreaded ATL. That is not a serious goal. It's a fun goal. And what I meant by not being fair to the board is that it's like a kid stopping in the middle of a game, picking up his toys and saying, "I'm leaving." That's not fair to the other kids. Today of all days we shouldn't have differences over something so slight, non?

I CAN'T put my posts back! It's not feasable!

No one reacted to them in the first place why would they become important now???

Don't mind me!

I'm not "dear M.François!"
That's too condescendant, and i don't own a brothel house... yet!

"You're" the one making a fuss about that! i'm just explaining my reaction, and I don't even believe i need to justify myself!

"Hi! My name is François and i do approve that post!"

Lol!

Besides.... i'm at work and i'm supposed to check out guests here, at the hotel!

Gee, i'm glad i found a way for people to post on a slow saturday evening!! -- Sunday morning here 7:40 am!

ATL? ATL,

Is that the name of a new Broadway composer????

I know ATM.... there's one near the hotel at the post office, on the street!

You needed to know that and to have one more post to add to the quotas!
Quantity versus quality!
Silly world!

Well, that's simply my ignorance of the nuances of the French language -- which I haven't spoken in probably 15 years or more.

Not really. It could be for fun or even could be said fondly. It's different in English.

Interesting birthday party this morning.
Breakfast at a cinema followed by a movie, "42nd Street", and then a light lunch. About 100 guests.
A good time was had by all.  First time I had seen the movie on the "Big Screen"

Hi Panni . Don't give up. I am expecting one from Dan in Toronto too! Same ship I think!
All our mail is being kept at the Post Office for the next six weeks. I collect mail anyway rather than have it delivered.  I have faith.

Yes, but it's not Mr Bruce.... because François is my first name!

I'm French, hence feisty to fit the cliché!

I must sign off I give you all a breack!

Oui. But I don't know your last name! I assume it's not "de Paris"... If it is - then I could have called you M de Paris, I suppose.

Well, I'm back from the Wrinkles of Washington show.  It was quite delightful.  The story (they write a new story every year) is that it's a reunion for the class of 1955 and everyone does some numbers and there's a tap dancing group and a belly dancer (and she's good, too!).  Actually, they all really are pretty good.  And it raises money for Senior Services, so that's always a good thing.  So, I'm now off to bed.  I get to sleep in in the morning!!  My only day of the week to do so and I want to get a head start.  Good night all!

I think the day was good for him - the film was a break from the socialising. Many of his partner's friends and colleagues were there too.  Thank you for asking.
