Can I count Bruce Springsteen as a DIVA?!?!?!
I got this tonight:

Chat was enormously fun.  As I will summarize now:

Mr. Brockman Senior offered me Craig's hand in marriage for a relatively economical dowry.  I'll see how many hours of work I can get in this week and then we'll discuss a payment plan later.  Jason turned down my initial proposal and must now die.  A woman scorned... hmm....

Maya is a skank.   There is no way about it.

Mark Bakalor has a webcam which made for miles of enjoyment.

BK has drowned in his soup.

Ron is God no matter what language you speak.

Swishy is Involuntary Jail-Bait.

LC has a weird roommate.

George is boring (his words not mine).

Jed wants Maya's skanky behind.

Too bad you all missed it! :)

Sorry I missed chat, but I could not tear myself away from FINDING NEMO. This has the most stunning animation I've ever seen, and the scenes in the fish tank, well, I've never seen such crispness and clarity and color (the three C's!)  in my life. After it concluded, I went back and just stared at parts of it again, and then started on the documentaries. I still think A BUG'S LIFE is funnier, but the animation here has to be seen to be believed. Astonishing.

And for tomorrow, I think I'll be settling in with THE HAUNTING with Julie Harris, Claire Bloom, and Russ Tamblyn.

The other day a Dear Reader was asking about Paris Hilton.  (The person, not the hotel.)  Here is an article about her from tomorrow's L.A. Times:

Thanks for another fine day of posts. Hope everyone has a good rest of the evening. I'll be back (sheesh! I've seen too many TERMINATOR movies) and looking forward to more great posting tomorrow.

Don't remember if I mentioned it, but congratulations, DR Tom, for ascending into the heavens to join your fellow god in triumph!

My oh my, what a lively and sparkling chat!  It was wild and wooly, merry and mirthful, fun and flirty (but absolutely NOT skanky!).  George, Noel, and I just cleared out the room... 'twas a delightful evening.  Thanks to one and all, all and one, for such a lovely chat.

It was quite the delightful chat.  I arrived late, just a moment before BK left.  I'm now off to sleep so that I can be rested and coherent tomorrow for work.  I took today off because I'm not feeling too well, but I'm getting better.  It was one of those days...but no more.  Tomorrow is another day!

A half-hour and not a single post!  Come, come now (before it's too late, late, late)... this simply will not do, even on a post-chat Sunday Monday night!

Gotta love that "Modify" feature!

Geez... now I'm the only person on the freakin' board!  Where, oh where, has the late-night crew gone?  TCB?  Ann?  Tom from Oz?  Ron?

Echo...echo...echo...

Is anybody there?  Does anybody care?

Certainly, Miss Babs and Miss Garland are examples of fine performers with considerable bearing and presence that set them apart from most.  But for real divas, I'll take the Misses Maria Callas, Leontyne Price and Joan Sutherland.

Jay:  Weren't they The Supremes?

Jed:  I love your new picture.

Why thank you, TCB, and to all the others who shared similar sentiments.  And thanks to Ann for supplying the camera to provide said new picture.

Don't think I'd mentioned this, TCB, but in the pic you had up before this new and improved clear one, you resembled my uncle!

My sister stole the PC from me after chat!  Grrrr!

Chat was very fun tonight.  I could only expect that you guys would tease me after Mark's revelation!  But really there is nothing to gossip about.  :P

Emily--I am a flirt, not a skank.  It's just my nature, I guess.  And you are quite flirty yourself, my dear!

Goodnight everyone!

I had to take advantage of a clear cool night and do some grilling out on my balcony.  Weekend rain kept me from getting my weekly N.Y. strip fix. ...and with more slated to begin tomorrow I had to cook now or freeze my steak.

The steak was buttery tender..........soooooooooooo good!   I'm still in a near-swoon over the flavor.

And it's been a night of listening to a few CDs and watching a tad of TV.

I  couldn't keep up in chat.  There were 9 or 10 people and 11 or 12 conversations going on among them.  It's mind-blowing sometimes.

And all the dishing our "dolls" were doing!  I'll betcha Mark Bakalor's ears were burning for a while there!

Looks like I got outta there in the nick of time...seems like everybody got afianced in some way, shape or form!

Hehehe... watching Waiting for Guffman (an all-time favorite of mine), and one of Corky's lines reminded me of the "skank vs flirt" debate in tonight's chat...

Oh! I'm sorry I missed chat! I would've loved to tease Maya and Mark. :) I was E&T all weekend, and I decided to catch up on posts while talking on AIM with some friends...Not a good combination. I get distracted easily, I guess. Ah well, I'm glad everyone had fun!

And I rushed home to make sure that the posts reached 200. I should have had more faith. Thought I had arrived at Jed's private site by mistake. It's OK Washington I'm home! now I have 100 posts to read.

Have you caught up with my #500 Jed. (last night) I wanted to introduce the family to Washington. A touch of viewing is in store. I have just borrowed Matthew Broderick's "Music Man". Will it be possible to banish Mr Preston from my mind and enjoy the show?

Sorry about not returning to chat - I got hung up with some work-related and book-related things.  I am happy to see we BARELY made two hundred posts.  It's funny what days and nights people choose to do disappearing acts.  Well, I feel we should make up for it tomorrow with a plethora of posts right out of the gate.
