That is correct, and we couldn't remember who she played in that movie...she seemed to recall playing a drunk but didn't know if it was that movie or not.

Yup she was the mother of Luana Anders in THE RESTLESS YEARS.  She drank all the time and yelled at her husband while her daughter played cha cha records and tried to get Sandra to give her the lead in the school play.  It was BRUTAL.  ;D

OMG (one major goofup in internet-speak)

In my catching up and posting I somehow managed to completely overlook Jose's momentous announcement about LESTAT!!!

Be assured that vixdad and I will be in the audience, very likely during previews in we can manage it!!

I am very pleased for you, Congratulations!!!

Your inamorata, John Bolton stopped by last night for a visit.  He was pleased to hear he had fans.  Out there.  In the dark.

DRStuart, you too know John Bolton?  I haven't seen him in several years, most likely when he was doing HOW TO SUCCEEDIN BUSINESS.  I love him!

He must have taken his lessons to heart--he's now the US Ambassador to the UN.   ;D

George, your extremely thoughtful gift arrived today.  Thank you for your kindness and your exceptional packaging job.  ;)

Suffice it to say, for those who are wondering, that my celebrated co-starring appearance with Jessica Lange has been digitally transferred to semi-permanent disk status.  ;)  I must hie myself off to find a place for it in the "archive" (inside joke for those who have seen the A&E Biography).

Oy!  What a day I've had today.

It seldom pays to take a 4-day weekend.

Fortunately, four people are out today, so I can get my work done and out of the way...barring, that is, any interference from choreographers or musical directors!

Oh, my, I must watch this movie again! Why doesn't AMC show it any more! Better yet, why doesn't Universal release the John Saxon collection!

Please refresh my memory DR Jed (or DR Ann). What show is DR Jed currently rehearsing?

TCB and I are both in rehearsals for Charley's Aunt, opening this Friday.

Loved Bob Denver.

Has vixmom always had an 816 after her name?

Everything is packaged, but I'll wait until after the lunch hour to go to the post office - it's a bit less crowded then.

Denver also did The Good Guys and Rusty's Trails (which was essentially another Gilligan.)  His brand of comedy gave this goofy kid hours of enjoyment.  I'm sorry to hear he is gone.

We should all be so blessed to be remembered as fondly as Mr. Denver. I have no clew what his personal life was like, but what a blessing for a performer to have created two beloved, iconic television characters.

Just went to pick up packages and mail, but they hadn't even BEGUN to put mail and package slips out yet.  Why?  Because, as per usual, people are idiots.  There were about two hundred packages that people brought in to be shipped today.  Heaven forbid they might have shipped them Saturday or Friday - noooo, they have to wait until the day after a holiday, that's when they MUST do ALL their shipping.  I'm hoping I find a good window of non-busy opportunity when I trek over to the post office.  People - can't live with 'em, can't live with 'em.

They heard that a very busy record producer was going to be tying the place up all Friday and Saturday with CD pre-orders and so they waited until today...... :D
