I'm just chacking in to say I'm alive.  I'm unwell.  I'm at work.

I was at home all day, in bed, yesterday.

Some sort of bug running through me, grabbing onto parts of me and making life miserable.

DR MattH.   Thanks for the package.  !!!   :o

I don't know what the reference to British Sterling was about as I haven't "caught up," but I used to be plumb crazy for English Leather.

And then there were the Nine Flags fragrances.  My favorite was Aromatic Tabac from Brazil.

Sigh.

I still have last night's THE OFFICE to watch. Otherwise, I'm caught up on the TV premieres I wanted to see at this point.

DR Ron, Sorry to hear of your illness but glad the package arrived safe and sound. You must let us know your thoughts once you've had a chance to watch.

I didn't get a chance yet to finish BODY DOUBLE, but since I got no packages today, I will be able to finish it tonight before LOST comes on.

The 4 disc BEN-HUR still hasn't come! And I saw a thousand of them at Circuit City this afternoon.

Still, no sweat. I have MORE than enough stuff to watch.

Thanks for the ME THAT NOBODY KNOWS info, Matt. Also, glad to hear you weren't over the moon about EARL. The critics around here at least have been talking like it is going to save comedy or something, and I didn't think the show was very funny at all.

When I turn 90, I will NEVER turn down the chance to be interviewed.

I'll get there first - want me to save you a seat?  ;D

DR Matt

I listened to Woman of The Year on the way to work today.  I enjoyed it very much and look  forward to hearing it again on the way home.

Who is it playing the male lead?

DR MATTH - I don't know if I EVER smelled British Sterling, I certainly couldn't afford it....I think the mentioned Hai Karate was the most exotic I ever got.  And don't forget Brut - advertised by Joe Namath....that's the one that makes me a bit woozy.

But DR RON's post reminded me of my very favorite of all....haven't bought it or worn it in years, but I really like Canoe by Dana.

This has not been the best year for my health. I am relatively healthy, but I've gotten sick more than I should. Need to start eating better, exercising more, all those things "they" tell you to do.

Do any of you New Yorkers know where or how I can find out what Bollywood movies are playing in your town??? I will be darned if I can find any listings anyplace (although it seems like I found one, once).

The two main theaters seem to be Eagle Theater in Jackson Heights and Palace Theater in Queens. Maybe also, Manhattan Twin in, I presume, Manhattan.

Just want to know whether there will be any features worth catching whilst I am there! It would be fun to see a Bollywood on the giant screen. Can you imagine seeing a larger then life John Abraham?! (Or perhaps for some of you, a Shilpa Shetty).

Harry Guardino plays the male lead on WOMAN OF THE YEAR. (He was also the male lead in ANYONE CAN WHISTLE). He was not first and foremost a singer though he does enough to get by.

When you've got a big musical starring two actors who can barely sing (Lauren Bacall and Harry Guardino, you have your work cut out for you in trying to make it run).

Yes, I still have about half a HUGE bottle of Canoe my brother gave me eons ago. It was always his favorite cologne.

I have a little bit of a cologne left called Hawaiian Surf that used to be my favorite. It came in a cork covered bottle.

MY NAME IS EARL featured so much redneck humor, and it's just not my cup of tea. Yes, he got a tiny degree of enlightenment dealing with his gay ex-classmate dureing the episode, but I expect a comedy to make me laugh, and this one just didn't do that enough.

I saw the overnight ratings were HUGE for EARL compared to what NBC usually runs in that timeslot. That has to have made them feel good. (THE OFFICE had the same tepid ratings it garnered last year.)

So do I!  BTW is there a backup plan if (heaven forbid) the walk gets rained out?  Can we do it by subway?

What does our fearless tour guide say?

I think he said, "Bring an umbrella!"
