...They have goone far and beyond whatever could have been expected of them as parents, and grandparents. I love them dearly and I am immensely grateful to them.

AND

I cannot have a single conversationwith either one of them either by phone or in person where they do not irratate me to the point where I want to scream...
So, better wanting to scream than having them screaming at you, the way der Brucer's daughter seem to in every conversation she has with anyone.  Sheesh.   :P ::) :-\

Well. . .I've just come in from a frantic day of PERSNICKITY Christmas shopping to find on the voice mail - ANOTHER interview on Monday!  When it rains it pours, and I'm fairly certain that by the time all of this is over, I'll receive several calls on the same day, inquiring whether or not I will begin work for their company post haste!

As for that Page Two Dance with darlin' Joe Nichols. . .I just can't wait to read later what DR TCB will have to say about him.   :-X

Oh td, td, td; what can I say about your darlin' Joe Nichols......

He seems to have a very lovely face, but my first instinct was to throw him over my shoulder and burp him.      ;) ;) ;)

Jane - I totally forgot to have someone take a picture of me and the guy from the Foundation Center in Cleveland, who helped me and who presented a program earlier in the day!

By the way, we had handouts left over, except the Payday mini candy bars, which were gone in a flash.

I was goingto say something about not knowing that Jed's nickname was viola da gamba      :o :-X  but I thought better of it....such comments are better left to DR TCB  ;D

Cillaliz when were you last tested?

When my nephew was in law school he contracted a fairly serious case of TB.  Thanks to expensive modern medicine he is fine.  A few of his friends and one of his sisters tested positive, prior to symptoms, and the fix was fairly simple.  They never felt sick.

I haven't been since I was a kid. I know I should be, but it's one of those things I put off.

Cillaliz that is way too long.  Goodness, when did you have your last check-up?  Considering your work I would expect you to be tested every year.

Awaiting the arrival of our very own Mr. Nick Redman and waiting to hear if my dinner plans are happening - if I don't hear, then I suppose I'll try to coerce Nick to sup.

Here, at HHW, we all contract a fairly serious (serious??) case of TCB and do NOT want to get a shot to fight it! Oh no! ;D

I'm curious as to what BK will have to say abou the new transfers of the Rodgers & Hammerstein musicals. . .some people are very, very adamantly disappointed, while one of the online critics whose judgement I trust has given all five (2 STATE FAIRs, 2 OKLAHOMA!s and 1 SOUND OF MUSIC) films stellar reviews. . .is a puzzlement.

I've already reported on State Fair, which is a find DVD.

I have still not been able to score Oklahoma and The Sound of Music.
