And now I must go study post test counseling protocols.  I start doing HIV testing this week.  Tomorrow I'm being observed and I start flying solo Friday.  I'm going to be testing at the UN on Friday and at the AIDS Dance-a-thon on Saturday night!

Although I am very tempted to recreate my frenzy from a few weeks ago and fill an entire page by myself...

Well... I have at least a 12 hour rehearsal day tomorrow, and since I need to get up early to take care of some work before heading in for rehearsal...

Goodnight.

MattH.. do you know how Felicity fared in the ratings?

Well, the WB never scores THAT well in comparison to the big four networks, and FELICITY matched the underwhelming performance of the usual WB shows. I think I read it averaged around 4.4 million. NCIS on CBS had almost 18 million during the 8 p.m. hour.

I still don't have a photo of the finished mural, and now that it's snowing like crazy it may be awhile until I can get a good one, but here's one in progress

Hey MattH, we were just talking about this yesterday...DIMPLES, THE LITTLEST REBEL, and THE LITTLE COLONEL are coming to DVD March 21!

I have never seen DIMPLES!

I have DIMPLES already. It was in the first three rather wretched DVD Temple releases that Fox did a couple of years ago (DIMPLES, BRIGHT EYES, and HEIDI). With it, at least now, I won't be repeating any more already purchased Temple films once this next set is purchased.

If I remember correctly, DIMPLES looked the best of those first three releases.

Of course, I'm delighted about the news concerning REBEL and COLONEL. Looks like they're going to bringing them out a little faster now. Good!

Watched the first hour of BATMAN on the newly remastered DVD today. Of course, I also had to put in the old one to compare the two. The newer one doesn't appear to be any sharper to my eyes, but it's a bit brighter and has the choice of DTS or Dolby Digital sound.

Burton's two films are murky anyway, so I suspect any remastering improvements are going to be hard to tell. I'm certain the Schumacher efforts will look better because they're more neon bright than Gothic dark like Burton's.

I did watch RUDOLPH in the new high definition version tonight. There's only so much that can be done for this show even in high definition. It's always looked primitive to me, and the HD does it no favors, only makes its crude animation all the sharper and clearer. (That's part of its charm, I guess.)

At least I won't have to look at it again.

Ah, you gotta love RUDOLPH....it wouldn't be the same if it wasn't primitive....

I echo DR Jose's exclamations about LOST. Just one surprising turn after another with so many of the characters.

Can't wait to see what Locke and Mr. Eko do with the new information.

It is very unusual for Freddy to venture off very far. One time he was gone for 3 days and it turned out he was locked in a neighbors garage. A couple of times he has been gone all night. Otherwise he sticks close to home.

No, its charms have always left me kind of cold.

But I admitted that it's more than likely those qualities that have keep it a favorite for decades.

Yes, that is part of it's charm! I remember waiting eagerly every season for it to air when I was a kid!

I'm still getting used to this laptop, but I really think I'm going to like it. It's a Dell Inspiron 6000. It's so much sturdier than my little ultra-light portable.  I'm keeping that one for travel. After being turned on and off probably 20-30 times after I reformatted and reloaded and did everything possible to get it to install the modem, I got a little balloon that said, in effect, "OH, you're right, there is a modem in here".  It's such a piece of junk, but as long as I can make it work for internet and email, I can travel with it when I don't have to give presentations and if it breaks, oh well, what else is new!

INVASION had a gut-wrenching episode from start to finish.

Isn't it maddening that the shows go into reruns now for awhile? Pure torture.

I started to go ahead and watch VERONICA MARS, but I knew my eyes were getting a little heavy and I'd rather see it when I'm sharper and can catch any mystery clues that might pass by.

Me too! Tonight it is snowing and when I saw Rudolph was on I really got the holiday spirit.  I've already been shopping and am in the mood for the holidays for the first time in years. I may even deck the halls this weekend!

I loved the finale of THE BIGGEST LOSER last night. SPOILERS>>>>

The winner, Matt is from Iowa, so that was pretty cool. It's just great to see a show where they lost amazing amounts of weight with diet and exercise alone and they were friends instead of enemies. Imagine losing over 100 pounds and not losing enough to win the competition! That happened to a number of them.   It inspired me enough to go down the basement and dust off my treadmill....I'm going to try to keep at it.
