Antonia, I mean TPunk, is a huge Sudoku fan. As—judging by what I see on the subway each day—is half of NYC. This craze just kinda came out of nowhere!

My dad is totally into it, so I got him a sudoku a day calendar. Well, turns out he already got it for himself. So I'm trying to decide if I want to risk getting addicted or pass it on to someone else. hmmmm

Jason, while not as cute as the giraffes you posted and this isn’t a very flattering photo, this guy resides in our living room.

He arrived today and we have yet to name him. Suggestions will be welcome.

Sorry that is so big.  We still need a new program to downsize the photos properly.

How do you know that he's a guy?? ;)

I have a friend, Misi (pronounced just like "Missy" and that's her full, legal name...she had it changed) who loves and used to collect giraffes.  If your giraffe was a girl, I'd suggest naming after her (even though you've never met her).  She moved to Portland last year to be near her son and grandkids.  I haven't seen her since then, but I've heard that she's doing well. :D

I've been errant and truant since yesterday.  After work, I went to my sister's and we and my niece played Scrabble®.  I came in third...last. :P But it didn't surprise me.  Anyway, after that, I eventually came home and started to watch "Mysterious Skin" that I got from Netflix.  I watched the first 30 minutes or so before I started to nod off.  I figured I'd better get myself to bed before the movie is over and I won't know what I watched!  So, I'm going to watch the rest of it a little later tonight.

Today, my niece and I went to see "Rent" again. During the song, "Take Me For What I Am,” the movie stopped and all of the lights came on!  A couple of people went to the lobby to find out what happened, but eventually someone from the theater came in and said that there was a power surge and that EVERY movie had stopped.  They said that they'd be able to get everything reset in a few minutes, which they did.  After the movie was over, I drove my niece home and I went to work for a couple of hours.  I'm home now after dinner (I had a coupon for a free Whopper from Burger King...a.k.a. BK ;) AND I also had a diet Coke, the official drink of HHW) and will be watching the rest of "Mysterious Skin" in a little bit.

As for the Topic of the Day:  everyone who has been mentioned!!

But the only Broadway Divas that I've seen live are:  Betty Buckley (in Sunset Blvd. on Broadway 10 years ago this month!), Patti LuPone (in concert in Seattle, earlier this year) and Bernadette Peters (in concert, here in Olympia eight or nine years ago).

Fabulous all! ;D

Well, I don't really, that came from Keith.

So I asked Keith how he knows it's a guy and he said it's asexual and George (his original idea to name it after my brother) could also be a girl’s name.

Misi is cute and much better than Missy.  I will pass your suggestion on to Keith.  Thanks.

My pleasure! ;) I remember that there was a girl named George on the TV show, "Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries" with Pamela Sue Martin.

This is one of my favorite books - I think there was also a TV special, maybe on PBS?

Good vibes for healthwise ways to DR DANISE and DR RODZINSKI.

It's that time of the year - and for some of us - that time of life!!!

DR Danise,

Take care of yourself! I am so sorry that you are going through such health problems, whatever they be. You are one sweet chic and I only want you to be in the best of health and humor!

What great pictures DRJASON.  From a python to a giraffe to a TIGER!!!  Loved them all!

And DRJANE - Rock ON!!  That thing is great, and I hope you have at least one Annette Funicello CD to put into it.  Sorry to tell you that she is doing poorly - healthwise - and may not be able to stay at home much longer, even with 24 hour care.  Include her in your prayers, if you can.

And DR Rodzinski, ditto as above, except the "sweet chic" part!

You are one of the neatest guys I know and far too young to be worrying about any sort of health issues! I will keep positive thoughts and vibes going to you! And to both of you!

Yes, Cillaliz, I took Hildy to her new home in South Salem. I think she is going to be very happy there! The Vale's have a very nice, big home, and a 9 year old son who has one heck a great birthday surprise when he returns from his weekend sleepover!
