I sent someone a Godiva package that was shown as "out for delivery" on Wednesday morning, and UPS keeps changing the delivery date.  I called uPS and they said they'd have to start an investigation.  Isn't that great?  You want to surprise someone with a nice holiday present, and suddenly there's an investigation.

I associate Blue Bayou with Linda Ronstadt for some reason.

Linda who???? ;)

Yep! Her version is more famous I guess!

"Linda Ronstadt"! That reminds me of..... who did make that remark?... what what said of Marlene Dietrick's name...

Something like, it starts like a carress and ends like the crack of a whip!! ;)

I wrote a song about my Godiva experience.  (If you're easily offended, scroll down to the next post):

It's called "Nearer My Godiva to Thee"

I don't understand how Ron Pulliam manages to stretch things out when he's approaching a milestone without making a nuisance of himself.

No! I've never seen the Partridge (in a pear tree?) show, even though I do like Shirley a lot!
Got a cd a songs from that show recently, mostly sung by that Cassidy kid (then) and... frankly (or Françoikly) I don't care for any of them! :D

That's what makes horse radish, right?

How sad. Blue Bayou was written and sung by Mr Roy Orbison when those two ladies were in grade school.
(OK - High School - It was 1963 - They were both 17 that year. I wonder if they learned the truth)
