Rodzinski and I sometimes play a su doku challenge- where we make a photocopy of a puzzle and race to see who can complete it first.

Oooo, this could be dangerous.  We're both fiercely competitive when it comes to cards... and dominoes... and backgammon... and...  But maybe I could actually win at this one! :D

Hey guys, just shoot me, but for the most part I really liked JUST SHOOT ME.  I thought it was sometimes cruel and in bad taste, but it made me laugh quite a lot.

I concur, I loved the show and thought the cast was great.  I also generally love things that are cruel and in bad taste, so there you go...

Thanks everyone for the nice comments about my new avatar.  It is a favorite childhood photo of my sister and I.  Of course I cropped her out of it, that's her chubby little arm in the lower right hand corner.

Yeah, Ann says that her sudoku times aren't usually as quick as mine, but she's probably just setting me up so she can properly crush me when we inevitably compete.

Well, we editors were treated to lunch at San Domenico's today and it was one of the best dining experiences of my life.

The first course was something I never knew existed: a ravioli with a poached egg inside of it. Don't know how they did it, but it was swell. Great service, great desserts.

Then I did some shopping, and now I am home, relaxed and free of the volatile subway system.

I just read HERE on www.cnn.com that John Spencer, who was on "The West Wing" and formerly on "L.A. Law" (with DR Charles Pogue's good friend Larry Drake), has just died.  He would have turned 59 next week.

Back from Du-Par's and my first "real" food since 1:00 Wednesday.  I had two poached eggs on toast.  It was quite good and did the trick - I think I feel okay, and that shall do it for today's meal.  Maybe a few crackers later, but that's it.

Is popcorn okay - or blechhy?

I am anti-popcorn in general. But it strikes me as a stomach-neutral snack.

I got hooked a while back. I blame my father, he already had the Sudoku a day calendar I bought him for Christmas so I decided to pick up a book and see if I like them. Well.....they are SOOO addictive

I had a long day in court, but I was able to help my client get the birthday present of 5 years less in prison than he was expecting.  5 years of freedom - not such a bad gift.

I must do some of the things that I must do. Back later

I am still horrified by such multi-season "hits" as SUDDENLY SUSAN, JUST SHOOT ME, and CAROLINE IN THE CITY.

Hey, I loved those shows...and Veronica's Closet too! LOL!

But then, as I said, I thought MR ED is funny.  :D

Thanks in part to DG Ann, I finally gave in to the sudoku craze.  I am now hopelessly hooked on the danged things!

I am a-scared to even try Sudoku for fear that I will be hooked.

I suspect that Salem's one man Bollywood festival man thinks it is the rest of the HHW who need to catch up with his taste setting viewing patterns. LOL. Reindeer for courses I guess.

I just found the most ridiculously cute website: www.cuteoverload.com.  They are having some problems with their photos right now, but if you click on kittens and scroll down some, there are the cutest pictures ever.

Soduko.  I took so long to get my black belts in Origami and Oregano that I'm not game to try another martial art.

TPunk, DR Sandra and I used to be a foster home for the pound. We had LOTS of tiny kittens. Lots of cuteness at our house!
