Still in my pit clothes - all black - shoes, socks, jeans, button down shirt - yes, even my Hanes boxerbriefs are black.

-Hmm... I believe DR MBarnum's underwear was black too.

;)

Major league umpires are required to wear black undies just in case their pants rip....

Little known information available here on HHW!

Maybe it was a test....just a test.....if it had been the actual New Year you would have been instructed to tune to the Conelrad station in your area!   8)

DR PENNYO - It Came From Outer Space is on TCM...you are dressed perfectly to watch it!!  And eating is required while watching sci fi on television!

Well, maybe I'll tune in - I could probably sleep to that movie! Thanks for the heads-up!

Happy New Year, everyone!  I've had a wonderful one, beginning with a dinner at a wonderful Italian restaurant Celesta at 85th and Amsterdam, with an Italian waiter who would give DRMBarnum severe hives and a craving for Italian food every day.  The dinner was excellent, by the way, and quite reasonably priced.

Then we went to see Judi Dench and Bob Hoskins in MRS HENDERSON PRESENTS, which is a wonderful film going onto my list of 10 best backstagers.  I knew from the first credit I would love the film, and it's a musical, a biography, and a history of London before and during the Blitz, with a wonderful cast and a beautiful blonde actress who spends half the film showing her lovely bosoms.  I have three words for you all:

MRS HENDERSON PRESENTS

and three more words:  don't miss it.

DR TCB, the undies on eBay were Barnum's, I swear.

lasted 20 minutes at the bar. not as crowded as i thought it would be and neither were the roads. got something to eat. called my parents. A friend then called me. Watched a bit of spaceballs. Dozed off. now off to bed.

Happy new year to all

No beddie until the fat lady sings, baby!  We're havin' a New Year's Rockin' Eve.  I, for example, am doing the Lambada (The Forbidden Dance), which is not so easy to do when you're listening to My Cup Runneth Over.

The movie sounds fascinating, DR ELMORE....except for the Bazooms part!

Wait a minute, did MR BK say that Lee Remick is NO Mary Martin?

DR JRand55, I just finished watching KING AND FOUR QUEENS starring Mr. Clark Gable...and boy was Sara Shane right about that wallop that Jo Van Fleet gives her...man you could see the pain on Sara's face and she did fly out of frame! LOL! I am surprised that they kept that in. You can also here Sara cry out in pain briefly.

Do dogs go poo a lot? Piper has, I swear, gone poo at least 6 times today! I am now calling him Pooper, instead of Piper.

Unless I'm in on the credits, sometimes I mix up Richard Carlson and Hugh Marlowe.

Sara Shane will someday give us some important Allison Hayes information, too bad she gets too upset to talk about her personally.
