I had a dream about Kevin Bacon last night.  He was just there - didn't do or say anything - but after he left I turned to a friend and said -"Now we're both 1 degree from Kevin Bacon"   Or is it zero degrees if you know him? I would think zero degrees would mean you ARE Kevin Bacon

I think those bandaids came from the medical supplies cabinent at Iraq's Abu Ghraib Prison

LOL They are something I would buy and give to a friend of mine who collects goofy things.   I gave her bandaids shaped like lips for Christmas

Well, since I'm supposedly home working and letting my feet rest, I better let my fingers do the walking and get some research and writing done. Laters

Like DRJENNIFER, I didn't mind what happened on AMAZING RACE last night.

I don't like it at 10 pm ... but that is another story.

Oh yes FIVE WEEKS IN A BALLOON has everything, unfortunately that everything includes the irritating and self centered Red Buttons....

I don't mind what happened on TAR either.   I rather like this bunch of people, well except the guy who yells at his wife.  The rest are all so nerdy in one way or another. I like that

As far as the time, it works better for me, but that's just because it takes me a while after I get home from work to figure out what's on and what i want to watch

Deb, Anthony laughed and laughed at the cat portion of your diary postings. He likes both cat and dogs but if he had to choose, I think he would choose cats.

Ron, what commands do you use to get the text to dance?

I wave my wand and command, "Danssse, Salome...dansssssse...!"

Actually, DR DakotaCelt, you use the marquee command for each sentence.

[move=left,scroll,6,transparent,100%][/move]

You will note the word "left" is in the command.  You can change "left" to "right"...or "Up" or "down" to get the desired end result.

But waving a wand never hurts, either.

I'm okay with TAR last night, as well.  I was prepared for it when they showed Phil with no Russian person standing beside him doing something Russian.

I was sort of surprised by all the taxi cab sharing.  And while I was surprised by the old folks getting to be in second place for a while, I had to smack my head in frustration when the old guy couldn't immediately find one of the clues when he was in the water.  Oy!

And as far as the dentist is concerned, for a guy with such a big mouth he doesn't have much of  a clue most of the time.  He and his wife won't make it to the final six.

Are ypou sure you really live in Canada? Quick look out the window, how many moose do you see?

LOL.

I was wondering the same thing, especially in light of yesterday's revelation that DR Jennifer is unfamiliar with "Commonwealth Day."

However (from the internet):

"Most bacon consumed in the UK is back bacon (also called short back bacon). The cut comes from the loin in the middle of the back of the animal. It is a lean meaty cut of bacon, with relatively less fat compared to other cuts.

"Back bacon is known as Canadian bacon in the United States but not in Canada, where it is simply called back bacon. In Canada it is traditionally unsmoked back bacon that has been sweet pickle cured and coated in yellow cornmeal. This variation is also known as peameal bacon, because in times past a mixture of ground yellow peas was used for coating to improve curing and shelf-life. The "Canadian" bacon sold in the United States is plain lean back bacon."
