Two blondes living in Oklahoma were sitting on a bench talking...... and one blonde says to the other, "Which do you think is farther away..........Florida or the moon?"

The other blonde turns and says "Helloooooooo, can you see Florida...???"

A blonde was playing Trivial  Pursuit one night. It was her turn. She rolled the dice and she landed on  Science & Nature. Her question was, "If you  are in a vacuum and someone  calls your name, can you hear it?" She thought for a time and  then asked,

 "Is it on or off?"

A girl was visiting her  blonde friend, who had acquired two new dogs,  and asked her what their names  were. The blonde responded by saying that one was named Rolex and one was  named Timex. Her friend said, "Whoever heard of someone naming dogs like that?"

"HELLLOOOOOOO....,"answered the blond. "They're watch dogs!"

A highway patrolman pulled  alongside a speeding car on the freeway. Glancing at the car, he was  astounded to see that the blonde behind the wheel was knitting!  Realizing that she was oblivious to his flashing  lights and siren, the trooper cranked down his window, turned on his bullhorn and yelled, "PULL OVER!"

"NO!" the blonde yelled  back,

 "IT'S A SCARF!"

I just had half a Reuben sandwich, some freshly made potato salad, a kosher pickle and two glasses of iced tea.

The other half of the sandwich is now sitting in a bag on my desk...awaiting my late-afternoon attack of the munchies...which hit around 3:30 or 4.

LOL...as much as I love Gene Kelly, watching XANADU would just be going too far!

(I do listen to the soundtrack though  8) )

Don't you love that number he does with Olivia Newton-John?  It sounds so much better than it actually "looks" in the movie...

Yes, it will be a bumpy night!  Since I was a rather good director, and better than some I've worked with as an orchestrator, I do my homework.  I was always good at research, psychology and motivation.

Robert Burns, a Scottish poet, wrote the famous line "The best laid schemes o' mice an' men gang aft a-gley" in "To a Mouse."

Following "Erin go bragh," I just want to point out it isn't an Irish thing.  However, I am.  An Irish thing. :)

I don't get the point of the first statement.  I've directed my fair share of plays...acted in them, too.  Neither of us is making a living at it.

The Burns reference...terrific that you corrected it.

And the last reference...??????? "Erin Go Bragh" is most definitely and assuredly "an Irish thing".

Quite Irish!

VERY IRISH

I was really surprised that Ace was there. Although for some reason they seem to make a habit of sending the first of the bottom three back to the couch first. I never for one minute thought he would go. And i do think it will be a wake-up call to his fans. I definitely always pegged him for top 5. And think he has a lot of fans. But sometimes when people have a few favorites, they vote for those they think are in danger of leaving.

I was moderately surprised that lisa was there. ANd not too surprised that melissa was bottom 3. Although considering how the judges praised her i did not think she would be going.

It seemed obvious that when ryan said that one of ace or kevin would be safe, that it was kevin. They love to do stuff like that!

I'm surprised you were surprised, since he was in the bottom of the men's group when the final 6 men were selected.

Terribly so.

My best friend is a blonde, and I am sure she would take umbrage at the aspersions you caste upon her pillitory hue.

She takes umbrage quite often.  Her doctor prescribed it to deal with her condition.

But it hasn't helped.

She's still blonde.   :P

Perhaps she should chase that umbrage with a grain of salt.

It often helps.   ;)

Judy's comment about the same dance was directed not at Gene Kelly but at Ray Bolger.

The people's eyes in the picture might have been looking at Gene but I'm sure most of the eyes in the theater were looking at Charisse, and he knew it.
