And on that note...  A high G - well, actually, you play the G two octaves above middle C, but it sounds four octaves lower.  -A little bit of keyboard programming humor.

;)

Well...

Goodnight.

*And, yes, I am being a true WUSSBURGER WITH CHEESE AND BACON tonight.  Ah, well...

Jose I am very excited about you Lestat experience.... I cannot wait to hear how your first preview performance feels.  Have you heard about  when you will be recording the cast album?

No official word, but I believe it will take place during one of the days off we have after our opening week/weekend.  Sort of the traditional slot for recording cast albums.  We shall see.

I am off to have some tea.  I have just learned that a freind must go to have a biopsy on a breast lump tomorrow and that her father-in-law was rushed to the hospital today, he had triple bypass surgery not long ago... so I ask for vibes for their family.. prayers are welcome too.

If we haven't had a page 11 dance yet, how about  THE TAPIOCA from the movie THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE?

Wasn't that lyric by Sammy Cahn?

Millie:
Gosh, I've never named a dance before, or anything.

Jimmy:
Well, what did you have for dinner?

Millie:
Franks.

Jimmy:
"trying it out" Franks? Franks, franks, franks, franks.
No, what else?

Millie:
Saurkraut.

Jimmy:
"trying it out" Saurkraut? Saurkraut. No. What else?

Millie: Oh, I had tapioca for pudding.

Jimmy:
Tapioca? Join me in the Tapioca?
Everybody tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tapioca,
Everybody, slap, slap, slap, slap, slap, slap, slapioca.
If ya got the dap, dap, dap-dap-dappier flappers flap-flap-flappier
Everyone is happier when the do the tap tapioca.
When they do the flap flapioca.
Tap, tap, tap, tapioca,
Slap, slap, slap, slapioca,
Tap, tap, tap, tap the tapioca.
Let's pretend we've got a bowl, we're gonna have some sport. Ha!
Add trumpled licks and a rag-time beat, let's say about a quart. Yeah!
Ya stir and stir it with your knee, adding a bump or two.
Ya heat it, mash it, beat it, smash it, if there's a lump or two.
Don't let the temperature drop to many degrees,
Or you'll wind up with what is called the frozen tapioca freeze!
Everybody, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap tapioca, everybody freeze!
Slap, slap, slap, slap, slap, slap slapioca everybody freeze!

LOL.

I used to think that line of Millie's was:

"Oh, I had tapioca puh-pudding."

And I wondered why they didn't fix that stutter since she doesn't stutter anywhere else.

I've just finished watching last night's "Invasion"!

Holy cow!

Unbelievable hold-your-breath, squeeze-the-arms-of-your-chair tension!

I was afraid this was the season finale, but more new episodes in April!

Hoo-boy!

Do you think they REALLY thought folks would be going out and doing "The Tapioca" on the dance floors?

Ha!

If not the Yam, you can do the Sweet Potato.

(Or was that the Mashed Potato?)

BK, I know that someday, there'll be stereopticons that move.
Stereopticons, I can't believe it no I—
Someday in museums larger than the Louvre.

Oh yes, I know that someday they'll be wearing skirts way up to there....

I have a vague recollection of "The Monster Mash"...which I guess could be done with potatoes, sweet or otherwise.

Jose-
Tomorrow TPunk and I will be out in about in Times Square, so give us a call. It is a pal's birthday, and they've decided to dive into the St. Pat's melee. If you don't want to come meet us, your call might at least save us from what is sure to be bars full of the insane.
