Special Message For The Cookie Orderers, you know who you are!

THE COOKIES ARE IN!!!

They were delivered to my house last night around 9PM.  I will try to get them in the mail in the next couple of days.

DARN!  I should've ordered some from you. :'( There has always been someone here where I work selling Girl Scout cookies but not this year...not one person brought in the order blank.

Pity me. ;)

Do any of you guys here watch PRISON BREAK?  I always liked it, except many of the early episodes had violence (which i don't really like). But last night's episode had no violence. And it was the most thrilling episode they've had yet. Really good! I even had tears rolling down my cheeks!

DR JENNIFER I have never watched PRISON BREAK....I think watching HBO's OZ made the network prison dramas seem a little tame and contrived for me...

But tonight is TAR!!!!!

Does anyone else seem to confuse Leelee Sobieski (mentioned in BK's notes) with Helen Hunt?  They just remind me of each other.

I have ALWAYS felt that!  They really do look alike.  It's spoooky! ;)

Hey does anybody here get the Disney channel?  There was a movie on the Family channel here (high school the musical). I promised to copy it for a little girl.  My sis taped it. But it was marked in the tv at 90 minutes. But it's 93 minutes. So the last few minutes got cut off. :(

I know it's going to be o the Disney channel i believe this thursday at 8pm (mar 23). I'm trying to find out when it's gonna be on the family channel again. But there website is crazy (it seems like i have to go through each day to check).  I'm going to keep looking, but i was just wondering if i can't find it if anyone could help me.

Topic of the Day:

The World Trade Center buildings (of course) and the death of Princess Diana.  I couldn't stop watching any of it.

Also, the 10th anniversary concert of Les Misérables. ;D

It'll be on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. and Friday at 10:00 p.m. on the Disney Channel.  I don't see any listing for the Family Channel.  I can tape it, if you don't mind VHS.

"Not bloody likely.  Gin was mother's milk to her."

Wendy Hiller's performance of this scene (at a tea party in the play) is perfection...and as lovely as Audrey's is in the film of MFL, it is a pale imitation.  I don't know about Julie's onstage delivery....but Wendy is innocent perfection... "Have I said something that I oughtn't?"  ;D

Although I love Audrey:  "Come on, Dover....move ur bloomin' arse!!"  :o

Good news!  New Sweeney Todd Revival Recoups on Broadway!

The new Sweeney Todd is a financial success!  It made back its investment in only 19 weeks.

Two more memories (three, actually) , JR mentioned Robert Kennedy's assassination and that brought back the memories. Also Martin Luther King's assassination and the death of Diana. While it was terribly sad (Diana's death) it didn't shake me the way JFK/RFK/MLK did. I do remember watching much of the coverage of Diana's death.

Bee you tee full pictures Priscilla! Reminds me of the days in Minnesota where the snow was finally gone, especially when I lived on campus in Middlebrook Hall across the street from the theatre building. You would go to bed and the temperatures were decent for late March/early April and you would wake up with 6 or 8 inches of snow on the ground. I wanted to jump out of my 10th floor dorm room window at that point but, as Priscilla said, it usually didn't last long. You knew it would be gone completely in a short while.

Jason saw Sweeney, Jose saw Sweeney and I saw Sweeney and I bought the CD, not that the CD is related to their making back their investment but we all helped  ;)
