I'm watching a DVD.  I also have to watch Alias, which I TIVOd and which, thank the Lord, only has two more episodes.  I can't imagine tonight is more of a nadir than the previous twelve shows, but we shall see.

INVASION had a quite gripping episode tonight. Not as creepy or as unnerving as many previous episodes have been but just as engrossing.

Well, there WAS one especially weird moment during the show that was a superb visual shock.

Okay, I have a question about a previous episode of "Invasion," so it's not a spoiler.  I quite clearly remember the son, Jesse, becoming a hybrid.  Does anyone else remember this plot point??  If I'm remembering it correctly, how come he doesn't know that he's one and why isn't the show treating his character as one?  OR am I totally remembering some other incident or something else incorrectly.  Help!

Or, in the words of John Adams, "Does anybody care?"

Typing my essay up now. I put my notes and thoughts in some sort of order when I was at work.. Needless to say, after reading the book, I DO NOT have a lot of respect for aspects of the state governments of ND and SD.... I am ashamed.

I'm joining the tired club. Did a milliion different things today... Sending off an old script with a story synopsis; finding and writing up some missing check receipts for my taxes; working on a script that needs to be done by early next week and talking to the producer of same; talking to the producer of the one that's about to shoot; having a meeting with the director of same; starting to work on some cuts on that script; doing my laundry; taking the Wonderdog for walks... and so on. And I watched and taped THE SOPRANOS. Managed to stay awake through that. Have I mentioned I'm TIRED? And hungry, I think...

Well, I have to go and house-sit.  I must confess something that happened on Monday night.  I came home after work and did my stuff here, but I stayed much later than usual.  So, I started to look for the house key for the house that I'm house-and-cat sitting and I couldn't find it!  I looked all over my table where I put my other stuff...I looked in my car...I looked in my bedroom...everywhere I could think of!  I had to find the key because the cat that I'm supposed to take care of had been outside all day!  Anyway, I couldn't find the key and I figured that I left it at work!

AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!  How could I have left it there??  But I did and the building was closed and there was NOTHING that I could do.  I called the local weather line and it said that the overnight lows would be in the 20s and 30s!  I was so scared that Mela (the cat I'm supposed to "take care of") was going to freeze to death!  Anyway, the only thing I could do was go to sleep.  I set ALL four of my alarm clocks so that I could get up early enough to go to work when the building opens at 7:00 a.m., get the key and hope that Mela is okay.

I finally get to the house and Mela doesn't meet me when I drive up, as she ALWAYS had done before!  Oh, NO!  She's frozen!  What have I done??  So, I go up to the house, open it and there she is!!  She wasn't outside at all!  I totally forgot that she didn't go outside the day before!  Yea!  She's okay!  I DIDN'T KILL HER!  And, there was still a little bit of food left, so she was totally okay. ;D

And that is my confession...and now I must go.  Mela has been outside today. :)

...Writing out this list reminded me that I have to finish reading a script that's competing for a prize. The deadline is Friday. I had three to read. Two were short, but this last one consists of MANY sections. i want to be fair and stay alert, but I keep nodding off. BUT I want to get it off my desk tonight. Maybe I'll cuddle up in bed with the script and finish reading it that way. What a glamorous life!
