I forgot that I, too, have taken the Circle Line around Manhattan. It's a fun ride. I've done it more than once and found that I know as much or more about the Island of Manhattan as the "guides" on the ship.

I wonder if Jose lurks for the time being. If so, I'm seeing Lestat on Wednesday, May 24th, the evening performace. It's finally made an appearance on TDF and a $36 ticket is just the ticket (as they say).

Maria - Wow, 99 years old.  It pays to make a career in Jewish theater.

As my mother says (I'm paraphrasing), you do Jewish theater for 99 years, you live long.

I remember the great cartoon of Moses looking at the heavens and the caption was "  "Now let me get this straight, you want us to cut the ends of our what's off?"

I have been all over this fershlugenah town in search of postcards.  Fifty years ago, when this hole was an All-American City, there were postcards up the wazoo.  Now that it's turned into a ghost town and pit of inanity, no one wants to publicize it with colorful cards.  Such is the story of my hometown, which houses the world's fattest people.  I am definitely on the slender side in this burg! Oy!

Though there is the temptation to start telling circumcision jokes in DR Ginny's blog's comment section  :D

                 ***CONGRATS, T'PUNK!***

If anyone wants an excuse not to celebrate Mother's Day,  One thing that struck me was how incredibly young most of the sailors were.

Babies, most of 'em....some 17 and 18 years old...and still not shaving.

How can you call those the core of the GIC Reference Collection with a straight face?

You completely left out "Foundation Center's Guide to Winning Proposals III: Even More Ways to Win!"

DR Ron - I have cancelled my trip to San Francisco.  There are many unpleasant things that have been happening at work and I decided to take the cats to the lake for 4 or 5 days around memorial day rather than spend 4-5 days in a hotel meeting room listening to lectures about things I already know...even if it is in San Francisco

Boating?? At the lake we have a speed boat, 2 sailboats (there may be 3, not sure if the one that was for sale has been sold), a paddleboat and my best friend has a E-Class Sailboat and she also bought my kayak.

I've also been on a cruise to Alaska and many many boat rides. I'll have to think of some stories. I used to have lots from the days when we did the late night booze cruises, but that was long ago

DR Cillaliz - hope you feel better soon.  It must be bad at work to cancel a trip to San Francisco!

If the resolution is not that important, you can just hit ALT + Print Scrn on the web page and then Paste it into the Word doc.  If you want to be able to clearly read the what's on the webpage, you might have to paste it into Paint and then crop off some of the white space before you paste into the Word doc.
