My mom and sister arrived this morning bright and early at 8AM. The first thing we all did was go back to sleep. Them because they had been on a redeye flight from California with a screaming baby, and me because I'd had a bit too much sake the night before.

Restless. Watching a DVD. Wrote an unpleasant but necessary e-mail. Probably should have sent the one I wrote three weeks ago. Shifting sands. Change. Hate it all. We'll see what reaction the e-mail gets - or not. Nervous about tomorrow night and Monday night. Once that's done, I have to reassess many, many things. Don't know where all that will head, but one way or another it's going to head somewhere.

I don't think you could call anything that Lucy did in MAME singing. Still, I watched the widescreen laserdisc another time this week. A continuing guilty pleasure, and I remember how much I loved the show on stage with the two Broadway Mames I saw: Janis Paige and Ann Miller.
