Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

I hope DR TCB's loving neighbors will pop by to give us a progress report when either of them is able. We're all hoping it's good news.

Hi Gang!
Back around and catching up. TPunk's mom and sis are in town. I "babysat" sis yesterday. Which means I sat around while she talked on the phone to her friends back in California. Virtually non-stop. Can you imagine going on vacation across the country and spending the whole time talking to people back home who you are going to see in a mere few days anyway?

Then I attended the cast party for my little show that closed last weekend. Good times were had. Skee-ball was played.

Vibes for TCB. Hope it all goes well.

Also for DerB and SWoody and all others enduring health issues and traumas. Hope my vibes can do some good.

DR MATTH - I really like THE BEST OF EVERYTHING!  So many good things in it.  And the book is even better!

Gregg's playwright boyfriend is having an affair with the leading actor in the book - which is what sends her off the deep end....and even though Suzy Parker isn't MUCH of an actress, she is stunning to look at.  And Hope Lange is great....Diane Baker is okay.  And her good working relationship with Crawford on TBOE, got Baker the co-starring role in STRAIT-JACKET when first-cast Anne Helm and Crawford clashed on the first day of shooting.

We will, of course, keep all y'all posted on DR TCB.  Still a couple hours until he heads for the hospital at the moment.

Lost two great musicians recently. I just read about Freddie Garrity from Freddie and the Dreamers. 'I'm Telling You Now" was a swell hit.

And just found out Grant McLennan, the lead singer of one of my favorite bands, the Go-Betweens, died in his sleep a couple weeks ago. They were a marvelous, literate, and melodic band from Tomovoz's land, and they never made it big here, or anywhere really, but one of their albums called "Liberty Belle and the Black Diamond Express" got me through college. The band had broken up and just re-formed in recent years to much critical acclaim.

Bruce - I think the rain will clear, and you will get to go out for exercise later this afternoon. Fingers crossed.

Still early - anyone expect to get the earliest reports on TCB today? Oy. Best Jewish Mother vibes here...

You got that right, brother. This bar we favor recently added a skee-ball machine, and I thought, this cannot be a good thing. Boy was I wrong.

You are all such a wonderful group of people!

I had to check in this morning so I could postpone my  inevitable HHW withdrawl.  Your good thoughts and vibes have also gone a long way in reducing my high anxiety.  I should be in the hospital about four or five days.  My sister will call Jed and Ann after surgery so that they can let you know how it went.

                   ****VIBES TO TCB!****

I'm very tired today. Went out for a LATE Mexican meal last night. Came home and watched a few things I'd TiVO'd. Was surprised when I finally set off for bed that it was 2:30 in the morning! And I got up at 5:30. Which doesn't make for a rested moi.

Sounds like a painful winter sports injury.

Quote

ADELANTO, Calif. - It was a sod story for a Mojave Desert homeowner whose entire front yard — grass, bushes and sprinklers — was hauled away by a thief.

The homeowner telephoned law officials to report the yard in front of his under-construction home was gone, sheriff's spokeswoman Staci Johnson said Tuesday.

Witnesses told the homeowner they saw the thief taking the sod, plants and irrigation system to a nearby residence, Johnson said.

David Roger Bowers, 34, was arrested at the home and booked for investigation of grand theft and possession of stolen property, the sheriff's spokeswoman said.

The landscaping materials were returned to the victim.

That one is on my list, too.  Mostly because it featured the coolest killer ray gun ever!

Hi everyone!

I take it that there hasn't been any news about TCB.  I've been thinking and sending good thought about him all morning.

Work has been a real bear today so far.  Ugh.  3 more hours and I'm free!
