Who says HHW vibes don't work?

I'm a believer!

I had a lovely dinner of chicken and noodles courtesy of my sister-in-law and chef par excellence Jo Ann, I've spoken to Dylan who got safely back to Manhattan, and I've had some tasty vanilla ice cream.  I'm off to bed.

DR TCB, it's a new innovation since Leonardo painted your portrait.

Yes, but does it capture that enigmatic smile of mine?

Hi all, we had a power outage tonight for quite awhile. Not sure what that was all about. I should go tune into the news and see if there's any word. I am currenty hanging out with Bootsie in the guest room. We're taking baby steps.  Callie smelled her room today and Bootsie got to explore the office. But they are still a hissing away when they see each other and Bootsie is still wanting to lay around and sleep a lot. so I'm not going to push it

Callie did put a toy mouse in my purse which I discovered in the court room when I was looking for a cough drop. LOL

It sounds like you are making slow but steady progress with the cats.

I better go - we've got a ton of hearings starting at 8:00AM, so I need to get some beauty sleep and reset my alarm clock after the power outage.

PennyO, blame it on Rio, blame it on the bossa nova, put the blame on Mame, but don't blame me.

We did the fixes quickly and now I'll get a new disc to proof, which should be perfect, and then we're on to the authoring phase.

Good Evening!

Greetings from... Hmm... Poughkeepsie!  *I had to double-check exactly where I was/am... It's been a truly crazy past couple of days...

I have yet to ready today's notes and posts - and yesterday's too... But, I have to say the title of today's Notes is basically what I was on the verge of last night.  Although, some witnesses may say that I actually did freak out last night... I think...

;)

In any case...  I'm gonna attempt to catch up now, so...

Laters...

I am with you, Rodzinski.  I can't imagine that something that your rub on your forehead can do anything to relieve the pain of a regular headache, let alone a migraine.  If it works it is amazing.

Not anything?

Good evening!

Very good news about your father, DR ELmore, and I'll continue to keep the good thought as the days progress.

Well, I couldn't resist temptation, so I watched two more episodees of THE CLOSER: one involving a gay bashing and one dealing with the rape and murder of a maid. I remembered both but enjoyed both thoroughly.

Then, I decided I'd finish the animated ANASTASIA which I had started yesterday. I thought that was Liz Callaway's singing voice for Anastasia, and I was right. I knew it wasn't Meg Ryan's! Angela Lansbury plays and sings the Dowager (the Helen Hayes role from the 1956 film).

It was a very busy day at work today culminating with a closing I had to drive 33 miles to get to... the last closing I will be doing at this here law firm and I am feeling sad, nostalgic and bit panicked as I have two days left to clean everything up and leave a nice neat space for my coworker to whom I have bequeathed my my job........

And after hearing those ANASTASIA songs so much, nothing would do except I had to see the 1998 Olympics where the songs werre skated to. I have a commercial DVD of the skating competition from that Olympics, so it was easy to put it in the player and cue up Tara Lipinski and Michelle Kwan's short and long programs. I'm not sure there has ever been an Olympics where the top two skaters skated flawless programs in both long and short. Four amazing performances and I watched each several times because they were just so breathtaking.

Vixdad is sitting out in the livingroom playing his autoharp and softly singing. It sounds so lovely
