Here is the latest photo of her and Bear.  I think it's pretty cute.   :D ;)

I just got e-mail notice that "Doctor Who - The Complete First Season" has shipped!  I've been waiting for that! ;D
And you will LOVE it!  The Doctor Who Confidential disc alone is worth it.  I've gone through all the video extras, with just Billie Piper's log the only real dud.  I've started going through the episodes, all with commentaries, but had to turn off the commentary on the first episode - the trio doing the commentary were all too giggley to be understood.

But we've got Deceit to watch before I get all Whovian again.

One complaint - there's nothing on the cover of Deceit to indicate a) running time, and b) content suitability for young audiences, a.k.a. minors.  I'm assuming miners would be adult enough for any content.

We had a few minors see Deceit and they seemed fine - there are a few intense moments, but nothing they haven't seen in motion pictures of the last ten years.

So, would you say PG or PG-13?

I would say PG-13 for sure, for a couple of language issues and one intense scene.

Thank-you.

This does raise an issue, of course, as to why a film with nudity (The First Nudie Musical comes to mind) must be rated R, while language and vilolence/intensity can still get a PG-13.  But that's got more to do with our society's issues, rather than the films themselves.

I've a bunch of beets roasting in the oven.

That almost sounds like the first line to a lyric...

Is anyone else playing along on Treasure Hunters? I'm doing the challenges online. It's kind of fun.  I'm starting to like this show

A SHEENA MAIDEL - that should be the title of something, shouldn't it?

Topic of the Day:

On the Twentieth Century (OBC)
Merrily We Roll Along (OBC)
The Manhattan Transfer's first album (I love their logo)
The Best of The Manhattan Transfer
The Manhattan Transfer's Bop Doo-Wop

That's all that I could think of without going through my records at home...which is where I'm heading now. ;D

Maybe I've been too subtle - that must be it.  Let me try it a different way:

I have to do a phoner radio interview tonight at nine with Gregg Hunter.  Tomorrow I do the Skip E. Lowe cable show with Susan Egan.  Tomorrow night I have a dinner.  Wednesday I have a lunch meeting.  And on it goes.

Catworld update....tonight I put Callie in my room and shut the door. Because there used to be carpet and now there are hardwood floors, it is easy for her to look under the door.  She glared as I played with Boo and Boo roamed at will.

I then put Boo in her room and played the same game with Callie....she loved it, but now remembered she was planning to give me a lecture and is walking around meowing at me.  LOL....I think she's starting to get that Boo is going to roam her territory freely.....it's just a matter of time.

She was trying to immitate Boo's jumps (very high and impressive) but she's been doing power stress eating, and just can't swing it....oh the pains of being 4 years old.

Hello!! I have miised you all.  The new job is intensely busy... not a moment for a quick visit and I have been working util 7:30  or 8  then driving home, getting a quick dinner and then driving to gett he Vixter from her rehearsals then a quick laundry duty and to bed to do it all again the next day.  The Saturday was spent catching up on house chores, and visiting my freoned who had a baby girl!!!!  Sunday after church was spent visiting/saying goodbye with my brother  and his family.. the girls left this morning to stay with their uncle in Virginia while my brother and his wife head out to OHIO by car on Wednesday ..... very emotional weekend.

I've just pre-ordered a PIRATES OF PENZANCE DVD from either New Zealand or Austrslia, I forget which.  There is a Derek Metzger listed among the cast.  I'm wondering if this could be our late lamented Ozderek?

I have a solo album from Derek Metzger. One of my finds from Ebay
