Nice to meet ya, music guy. I am an organ music LP collector (among many other LPs). I have a George Wright one entitled HAVE ORGAN WILL TRAVEL that has a marvelous cover.

Major congrats to Maria - was it George Eliot who wrote something like "It's never too late to be what you might have been..." ? anyhow, never too late to be Canadian, I guess. Or something!

We just had a minor skirmish on the cat front. Hair flying and all. But it only took a 15 minute time out and they are ok again.  I thought I didn't have children....

Hello one and all,

Well, the weekend was really something (weekend being Thursday and Friday).  Bruce is looking as svelte and lucious as ever.  Very thin man (no resemblance to William Powell or Myrna Loy)!

The two cabaret shows I saw (the whole series, I'm sure, but I can only go by what I actually saw) were further proof of what a talented genius of a director/writer/producer our fair Bruce.  He must be very romantic, too-- as he had Adriana swooning at his proposal (proposal of marriage).

Thanks to Bruce, DR Laura and DR Sandra, DR Jeannie, the Hellzapoppin' energy and extreme sincerity of Jason Graae and the pleasure of Kevin Spirtas, I floated through my first day back to work even though the day was filled with tedious things and tedious people.
I had a ball, and I thank youall so much!

Kerry, we have a new thing here - WUSSBURGERS.

Maybe we'll also see the return of SwishySarah, Maya, Hapgood, William E. Lurie, William F. Orr, and a plethora of others.  Wouldn't that be the berries?

And speaking of MIA - wherefore art thou such errant and truant hainsies/kimlets such as vixmom and Jose?

I did some Googling and took a chance on a download trial version of a program called, aptly, Movie Converter, which seems to do the trick.  I'm still playing with it, but you can see the first fruit of my labor on my site.  Click the Frances Farmer button, then Pictures/Multimedia, and there, finally, is a short clip from Frances' 1958 Studio One drama Tongues of Angels.  You'll even hear a snippet of the elegiac Jerry Goldsmith score.

For my birthday in May, one of the things that I got was a $30 gift card from Circuit City.  Well, I've finally gotten something with it.  The complete second season of "The 4400."  I have the first season and thought I should complete the set...until the third season comes out.  I also bought (and had to pay for) a 2-fer pack of "Ghostbusters" and "Ghostbusters 2."  I love the first movie and don't really remember the second (but I know I've seen it).  So, someday I'll watch them. :)

I have Nero CD/DVD burning software on my computer and I just found a list of pdf manuals that are contained in the program.  One of them is for a wave editor and within that function (separate program?) is a Karaoke editor!  Supposedly, you can take a stereo song and have it remove the vocal line!  If it works (and I actually have it), that would be pretty cool!  I must look for it.

I found the Karaoke editor and I must say that, basically, it's crap. :P

Okay, I only tried on two songs and just played around with the settings, but nothing that I did made it sound good.  It really distorted the whole track...and that's not good.  I don't know what the original track has to be like, but it doesn't seem like it will be easy to figure out.

Notes will be a teeny bit late, which will give George enough time to take us over two hundred.

But then, I got distracted earlier with my Super Nintendo game, "Super Mario Brothers:  Yoshi's Island."
