Addressing away - we've actually sold more than I thought - BUTT, would you like to know a shocking thing?  Would you like to know how many people on this here site bought Mr. Spirtas's DVD?  Four.  I don't know what the deal is, really, but I will say that the DVD is wildly entertaining, has a great commentary track, looks swell, and for those who think they don't need to see it visually, I think you're missing out on a terrific experience.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DR VIXMOM!

i'm trying to get up the energy for my brisk morning walk (usually around 7 AM). As it's noon, the morning walk thing is a moot point.

So I had another job interview this afternoon- except it wasn't really an interview, it was more of an offer.  I have tentatively accepted and now just need a formal offer that includes salary, benefits, etc.  The position is at the program I recently completed my internship with- I would probably even get back some of my former cases.

That's cool! I hope it works out for you. I know you felt bad leaving some of your clients when you left.  I'm sure they would be overjoyed to see you return

Rose is nice, too.

Me, too!  Travis.....I voted for him....but Benji is very popular.  Is Travis the guy from the auditions who had a drug problem and saw a friend of his in the competition last year?  I think Benji and Heidi are a great dance team.

Good afternoon all
Forgive me, but I must rant somewhere, and this seems to be the place at the moment.
For those of you who don't know, I work as a toddler teacher at a local learning center.  I've been in charge of the room for about two months, and I've been working incredibly hard to redecorate and rearrange and clean and generally make the room as presentable as possible.  I've come in on weekends, come early, stayed late, you name it.
I come in this morning to find that my bosses boss has brought in two people, without discussing it with me, to completey re-do the room, tear down everything I've been creating and make it "better"  The "better" arrangement has turned my kids into chaotic little monsters.  I arranged the room SPECIFICALLY to suit my kids, knowing what I needed to be able to see from what part of the room, and how my kids behaved when they had access to certain toys.  The morning was pandemonium, toys flung everywhere and everyone crying.  I almost went out of my mind.  I'm just about at the end of my rope.  Employees are not treated well here, and I just don't think this crappy job is worth this much stress!  I know i could be doing better somewhere else.  I know my boss wants to keep me around, but how much am I expected to take??

End of rant.  Thanks for listening.

DR Ann, that is horrible!  Have you confronted your boss about his/her actions?  The ass needed to inform you of a problem or to discuss it with you before action was taken.  My advice is, never quit a job till you have another, but I'd start looking and tell the jerk to piss off.

Ann-sorry about your difficult morning, and job in general.  Vibes you find something much better.  If only the people who re-arranged your room could have been left to deal with the kids.

Good Afternoon!

Hmm... One of the Board Interns brought in some fresh-from-the-bakery cookies to rehearsal.  Which he usually does from time to time.  However, this time, the cookies were still warm!  Sugar, peanut butter chip, and chocolate chip.  Soooooo gooood!!!

-Guess I don't need to eat dinner tonight.

DR Cillaliz - I should be in NYC for part of that week in October.  My plan right now is to do split weeks between here and NYC once the show opens.  *And I'm definitely coming up to see DRs Tomovoz and Colin when they are there in September.
