As for the Townhouse... To paraphrase an ad tagline...

For men over 50 and the bois who love them.*

And yes, "Therapy" is on 52nd.  And "Vlada" is on 51st, I think, right next to Sortie - which is more of a "mixed interest" establishment.

I did something interesting tonight: I attended an owl release. Two owl eggs had been discovered in June in a bale of hay and were turned over to the local wildlife rehab unit. The eggs were given to a pair of barn owl foster parents, who hatched the owlings and raised them. Then tonight, the young owls were released into the desert by the light of the full moon.

Odd that the Townhouse evolved that way.  When it first opened, it was a very diverse group age-wise.

My son is watching one of those horrid mob movies with killing, torturing, and screaming. I have to leave the room. Good night.

Good Evening!

Back from my meeting - a.k.a. cruise briefing.  Alas, it looks like I'll be working more than five hours, but not that much more.  ;)  However, since I was 'given' two full days off on the boat, I have been enlisted to help with the group check-in tomorrow morning.  Starting at 7:00am.  UGH!  But, then I'll be done at 10:30am, and that will be the end of my work day.  I suspect I'll be taking a nap in my stateroom before the boat pushes away at 5:00.

Lots of suits containing men of all ages, but it's been over 16 years since I've been a regular visitor there.  I wonder if the Rounds crowd moved over there when Rounds closed.

Good evening all!  We enjoyed WICKED and the cheesecake at Juniors. We're in early tonight, well if you can call after midnight early.

Hopefully the weather will be clear tomorrow. We are going to Top of the Rock and the Empire State. We also see GREY GARDENS.

We enjoyed WICKED

I assume the first act finale got "off the ground".

Back from dinner.  The head of the cruise tour group company - Cruise Everything - took all of us to dinner at Bravo, an Italian restaurant.  Many drinks were consumed.  Many baskets of garlic bread were devoured.  And plates of pasta, veal, chicken and eggplant were practically licked clean by all of us at the table.  -Oh, yes, there was also dessert!  And, best of all, the boss pick up the tab!  :)

And now...

That was nice of the boss!!

Laura, that does sound like fun. I saw a great horned the other day when I went for a walk.

Re Simon Baker without his shirt - Isn't Simon Baker the fellow who revealed on The View a while back that he doesn't believe in wearing deodorant?

I'd read that Matthew McConaughey has also admitted to not using it.
