Re: "Heroes"...The cheerleader is one character among several -- two of whom can fly, and one of whom can teleport himself in both distance and time....
No, one of them can fly.  The other, his brother, can absorb and duplicate other's abilities for limited periods of time.

Oh, der B already posted about this.  Like minds.

DR JOSE's close personal friend Jeanne Bice is selling her Quackers clothes on QVC right now.

Yes, DR JRand, I stumbled across this, too, and now know who Jeanne Bice is and what Quackers are.  How have I managed to miss this?

A brief quibble: I believe only one character possesses the flying super power (the older brother) - the younger one's super-power is the ability to "borrow" other heroes powers when he is in close proximity.

And, yes, I too enjoy JERICHO - Major Dad gets to run a town!

der Brucer

Ooh, I hadn't caught on that that was his power- where else did you pick up on that other than with his brother?  Also, is anyone else excited to see what Hiro has to say tomorrow night?

Had an excellent day today.  Brunch with Rodzinski followed by an afternoon of sewing and drinking wine with 2 good friends.

Ben, please tell Ant that I am definitely moving forward with my holiday crafting party sometime between thanksgiving and christmas.

I feel like I have been eating nonstop this weekend.  I am going to spend the next week being very strict to recover.

DR GINNY - NOW you know!  ;D  Start looking around the library, my guess is between now and Wednesday, you will see a few Quackers.

Well, we see everything else, so it wouldn't surprise me!

DR CILLA LIZ has Paris slippers!

MR BK is home!!

MR BK - are you recommending that the BRAINiacs watch  a particular film for tone or content?  BRAIN FROM PLANET AROUS comes to mind, of course.

LOL. Well if I have to do a typo, at least having paris slippers instead of pairs of slippers sounds glamorous

Did a couple of errands and ate some supper.  Am so tired I can't even see straight - right now, for example, I'm seeing crooked.

A couple of the Brain cast have seen Plan Nine, but I'm not encouraging others just yet - I'd rather see what they're going to do - I've instructed everyone to take their characters seriously - as the actors in those films did.

I'm putting on the worst movie I can think of - The Monolith Monsters - that way I might just doze off.

Monolith is MUCH better than MOLE PEOPLE!

Jane was the wife of the Father that knew Best!!

She was exquisite in LOST HORIZON....with a nifty nude swim.

Great advice....serious as hell.....as soon as the people in the cardboard spaceship are in on the joke....it's NOT funny.

Fans of TAR this is a must SEE episode for many reasons, including a tearing up ending.

Maybe here?
http://www.zonecafe.com/zone_cafe_news/02_zone-diet-recipes.asp

Thanks-fortunately I found the link this morning.  Not knowing if she can eat tofu we decided to grill some salmon & used the recipes as a guideline.  I know her husband sticks to the zone diet, when she does the cooking.  For dessert, just fruit.  The next two nights we will go out for dinner or order something in, unless she does the cooking.

He figured it out himself & mentioned it to the Indian guy, can't remember his name, who is investigating his father's work.

TPunk-I’m very happy you had a nice day, seems you needed one.

96-wow!  I hope her last years were good ones.

We had a beautiful autumn day, wish the weather report were better for when our company is here.  At least the sun should shine most of the time.  It would be nice to do as we did tonight, take Sherlock & have dinner at one of the outdoor restaurants along the creek.

DR MBARNUM - who is Mrs Sparks?  Randy did some "acting" as well, most notable in COLLEGE CONFIDENTIAL with Miss Mamie Van Doren, Mr Conway Twitty, Ms Pamela Mason and other distinguished thespians.

I never knew that Conway Twitty was a lesbian, distinguished or otherwise!

My rant for yesterday and later today:

Why the *$^(* are sports games SO important that the networks disrupt their regular schedules and displease millions of people?  The numbers who watch NON SPORTS programs is much greater?  Of course the answer has to be money.  But it is MOST distressing....

I can tell you in one word................ HEIDI.

I am currently burning several episodes of the old TV series LAWMAN onto DVD for my interviewee Bek Nelson. She played John Russell's love interest the first season...then she up and was replaced, without storyline explanation, by Peggie Castle.

No one knows why...not even Bek! LOL!

DR Jane, I am certainly seeing why you used to like Peter Brown...wowee....could he be any cuter! LOL!

Mudhoney was the first Russ Meyer film I saw - at the late lamented Cinema Theater on Western just north of Santa Monica Blvd.

Elmore!  Do you know Ritch Brinkley?  Ritch and I worked a summer together in Odessa, Texas, at the Globe of the Great Southwest, doing Shakespeare.

Well, MUDHONEY just didn't hold my interest...too many naked breasts and not enough unclothed pecs...Russ Meyer's later films had plenty of both...and lots of it...maybe I will enjoy FASTER PUSSY CAT, KILL, KILL better.

Actually it was not here, but a double.

I always got Jane Wyatt and Jane Wyman mixed up.
