elmore....I also have the incindental music to send you, along with the way we did the military stuff at the end.
Incindental music - perfect for listening while sitting next to a toasty fireplace.

I should see about getting dinner on the table.  Going semi-Chinese tonight, with sweet-and-sour salad, battered and fried chicken thigh pieces (to be dipped in a ginger/sesame/soy dressing), and sesame noodles.  I'm thinking of also battering/frying some pineapple chunks, also for dipping.

I recieved an interesting comment from one of my co-workers this evening, shortly before my shift was over.  She noted how I was getting six days of work this week, while some of our co-workers are getting maybe four days.  She was pleased for me, but I hadn't realized how much time I was logging in.  Makes me wonder what I'm doing right.

Or maybe I've become Mister Available.   :-\

Speaking of logging in long days, Tuesday is going to be a long one for me.  At poll watcher training today I ended up getting a second shift - now I have to be at one polling place from 6:30 am to noon and then my other shift at a potential trouble precinct from 5:00 PM until the polls close at 9:00 PM. In between I have to remember to vote. It's going to be a beautiful day, so I'm planning to do some things around the house - we'll see. Then there is the post election get together starting at 9:00PM.    I must admit I'm looking forward to it.

Wow---that's amazing that we each have a little cow cat and a B&W tux cat!

Little cow cat- I love that and will be using it in the future.

Well, Callie is actually a calico...she would be most offended at being called a cow...

Walty is most assuredly a little cow cat and would probably prefer to be called that over some of the other nicknames I've had for him such as Little Chunker- affectionately of course.

This afternoon I saw Running With Scissors.  Loved all of the performances, Annette Benning is a standout just like the reviews have been saying, but Joseph Fiennes and Evan Rachel Wood are also most excelllent.  I am a huge Augusten Burroughs fan and have read all of his books.  I last read RWS a few years back so I had forgotten just enough of the details that I wasn't constantly comparing it to the book.  My friend who had just read the book found the movie boring but liked the performances.  She just felt she could have done without seeing the movie.

We haven't seen a movie since the week before we got Sherlock.  We just hate leaving him & he doesn't like to be left.

One of the nice benefits of my not going to the Dorothy Parker evening was that Toby and Dylan  didn't have to be left alone.

Skip's back from Angela Lansbury reading Dorothy Parker on Broadway, which co-starred Boyd Gaines and Harriet Harris.  He seemed to have had a good time.

Has it been discussed here that Lorenzo Lamas' cabaret show in NYC has been getting really fine reviews?

Do you want some more (Oliver)?

Only if they have pictures. I like to be able to see what it should turn out like.  And so you know, I already have the kitty litter cake recipe (with pics!), it's just too gross looking for me to handle.

elmore: I've explained this recent rash of signups - it's because when I post the notes they are "pinged" to other sites - I don't know what that means (Bakalor explained it to me once and it went in one ear, did an about face, and exited - but it's built in the software to ping) and then those pingees come and register but don't even have a clew as to what they're registering for - many are from foreign countries - none come back.  The only "real" registered users of late are edisaurus and singingnymph, both of whom have joined our merry troupe.  When are you back in NY?  We open in less than four weeks, baby, and I believe you've got about seventeen numbers to orchestrate :-)  I also have the incindental music to send you, along with the way we did the military stuff at the end.

Well, I clearly missed this discussion before, and I'm sorry you had to go through it again.  DR MBarnum also emailed me to explain it all.  I was really hoping it was the cast of The Brain jumping in.

I return to New York on Tuesday evening.  Please send it on Wednesday.

Kitty litter cake.

The ingredients sound great, but the image sort of triggers my gag reflex.
