NBC SPOILER - I THINK FROM "LAS VEGAS"

MattH - I was flipping stations and just happened to catch a brief snippet about killing a rat on LAS VEGAS, I believe.  I couldn't tell - with whom were our sympathies supposed to lie, with the rat killer or the person who berated her for killing the rat?

I think the viewer was supposed to love the rat. It was sort of a pet to the hotel security manager Mike. As I said, ridiculous.

Thank you, DR Vixmom, for the update on the Greg Sanders' situation on CSI. I should be able to follow upcoming events with him much more clearly now.

Thank  you all for the good wishes... the job may not be a fianacial step up but I beleive it will prove to be a life style step up... much closer to home, about a 15 minute commute as opposed to one that could be anywhere form 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on traffic conditions.

Also I may be able to arrange my hours so I get off by 4:30.. tnat would definitely be a bonus

Thank you all for the most excellent vibes

Might I just ask WHERE IN TARNATION IS EVERYONE???  Puh-leeze, I need more postings to read.  However, I'm back for but a moment and must now sup, after which I shall return.

I just returned from CASINO ROYALE.  Two movies in one week's time!  It sure is nice to have a life again! (Even with all the hours I'm putting in at Sam Morgan's, I still have time to go out evenings and have fun!)
I was apprehensive about both of the films I saw this week, but I'm happy to say that DREAMGIRLS was everything it should've been with Bill Condon at the helm (and typewriter) and that Daniel Craig is a phenomenal James Bond, the film is well-done (if about twenty minutes too long) and I still can't believe that with the torture scene straight out of Ian Fleming's novel that CASINO ROYALE is only rated PG-13; this one scene pushes the envelope more than INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM did!
Very imaginative and appropriate use of Monty Norman's James Bond theme as well. . .

Back from dinner and must now sit on my couch like so much fish.  Rehearsal tonight was unbelievably amusing for reasons I'll elaborate on in Ye Olde Notes.

I’m sorry to say NETFLIX doesn’t have "The Internationale"

Yet!

It will be released on the 21st. I'll ask the distributor about it, too. Thanks for reminding me!

Chris Cornell does the opening theme - no attempt to place the words casino or royale into the lyrics, though.
Madonna and a-ha tie for the worst, IMHO.

Is "The Look Of Love" given a reference anywhere in the movie?

My computer needed a nap. I painted my nails, drank tea & watched The Devil Is A Woman *AND* The Flame Of New Orleans. I'm really happy that I did.
