I've had a busy evening. Since I wasn't slated to go to my friend's house until 7, I watched the end of the CSI: NY episode I was watching and then put in MURDER SHE WROTE so I could finish the second disc in that latest set. This was the one concerning Jessica posing as an injuired Joan Caulfield only to learn that her late sister owned a brothel called the Garden of Eden in Oregon. MacDOnald Carey, Stuart Whitman, and Roy Thinnes were among the guest stars.

The work at Jeff's house was accomplished in about ten minutes. He's got family coming in tomorrow, so everything should be ready for them media-wise now.

However, driving there and back I had to go through a torrential rain, and it continued for a couple of hours after I got home.

I watched the last half of the Tony Bennett special.

Kudos to NBC for filming the show in high definition. I honestly didn't expect it. He's certainly had a long, interesting career, and that was quite a guest roster he had singing along with him tonight.

LAW & ORDER: CI had a story about the murder of a former sitcom star who had hit a rough patch and was making a living selling illegal videos. Sad story, but nice to see Dee Hoty playing his mother in one all-too-brief scene.

And nip/tuck sure pulled out the guest stars tonight:

Catherine Deneuve
Brenda Vacarro
Rebecca Gayheart
Jacqueline Bisset
Brooke Shields
Mario Lopez

and more corners turned in the lives of these two plastic surgeons.

Heading down for bed now. I have to be up earlier than usual for my six month check-up at the dentist tomorrow.

Good night!

I just saw the beginning of Drawn Together after Colbert, my nightly tv show, and the characters were watching "The Amazing Race...Riot". I've never seen TAR but it made me laugh anyway.

North Dakota will SAY that it knew all along....

And South Dakota hates to admit it, but being gay is the most important part of its personality.

Whew! I had just completed putting together my cookbooks the other night when I had the ridiculous idea of checking the laptop to see if there were the same number of recipes in the program as there are in the desktop I'm working on.....there were 30 more - 340 in all.

So, I have now added 30 recipes, taken things apart and rearranged them. I have the changes for all the books copied, but one copy actually complete. Mom wants to see it at Thanksgiving before I give it to everyone. Since they are her recipes, it's a little hard to say no, lol. I think she'll like it.

With that, I must sleep.  Tomorrow will be a good day at the office, most of the people there are either gone or will be leaving by noon. It will be a great day to organize my office, get a few things done. Catch up on correspondance, that sort of thing. I'm looking forward to it.

Isn't the capital of South Dakota, Peter?

I know he's not a Boy named Sioux.

Back from rehearsal and another late-night supper.  Must now write some notes.
