Degrees of separation:  Tom, when you listen to Dessa Rose, you will hear William Parry playing various roles; William Parry can also be heard on the Kritzerland release of Last Starfighter, in the roles performed by BK in the NYMF readings this fall.

An incentive.  I'm listening to The Beatles at the moment!

I'm not usually a fan of remixes etc but "Love" sounds wonderful.

DR TomovOz, are these the remixes that George Martin's son did? Greg told me about it but he didn't know the name of the album.

And did you know Brian Epstein signed The Cyrkle and John Lennon gave them their name? I just found that out. It all comes full Cyrkle, I guess.

Looking forward to the California trip.  I realized I haven't linked Skip's plane ticket to his frequent flier number and am assuming it's not too late to do that.

I believe you can even do it after you've taken the trip, but certainly  you can before. I'd call a Delta agent to make sure it happens. The ticket agent at the airport might be able to do it, too.

Yep the Martin & Son album.

The Cyrkle had a hit with Red Rubber Ball - co-written by  Bruce of OZ.

I'm not sure what that means but the other writer was Paul Simon and BK produced an album of Simon songs.  Connections everywhere.  Cyrkles everywhere.

Rubber Ball was written by Gene Pitney who also wrote "He's A Rebel" which was a hit here for Vikki Carr - just so that I can get another link back to yesterday.  Yesterday is of course on the "Love" album.

Thanks FJL.  I've had the Cd here for so long and not really given it a good listen!

I'm very fond of "A Man Of No Importance"

I like that one, too.

BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, only in this case it was two cops in 1968 rather than two cowboy/ranchers.

The characters in Brokeback Mountain were NOT cowboys and/or ranchers (IMDB notwithstanding). - they were sheepherders!

You can do it at check-in.

Cute! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGM7p_Zg2pk

I remember seeing this on one of those "Before They Were Stars" type shows.  It's pretty funny. :)
