I just got an e-mail from the Cannibal stage manager that we don't have to have a pick-up rehearsal on Thursday!  Just our performance on Friday, then Saturday and then we close on Sunday. ;D

I began my evening with an episode of BONES from the third DVD in the first season set. I remembered parts of the show as it unfolded (though not specifics about why the murder was committed). Took place in Santa Fe as Angela and a male friend spent a three week vacation. He and his Indian guide went missing, and she feared the worst. An average episode in the series, but one with a good bit of heart and tenderness between Angela and Temperence.

Good. We made it to Page 6. Looked worrisome there for a moment.

Tomovoz, in your avatar, those look like tortoise-shell glasses frames. After seeing the larger pic, I'm not sure now.

Without the internet, I don't remember how I used to spend slow days at work.

I next watched WEDDING WARS. No, not great drama nor great comedy. But it was pleasant, featured pretty people, had a message to impart and did so with a good heart. And it certainly had better production values than many gay-themed feature films I've seen. It was fine light fare.

I did invent a game at my old job that was quite a success. It was called Sectorball. Wrote a theme song for it and everything. Somehow, someone liked the game enough to submit it to wikipedia, so it lives on there.

There were days we had such a blast playing  that game that nobody wanted to leave the office. And that was with the internet available to us.

Next was tonight's HOUSE, a frenzied drama with the child of a little person (herself a little person) suffering multiple ailments. House's unfortunate condition and his stubbornness to not take the deal offered him even though it offered a legit way out of the dilemma for everyone was both infuriating and engrossing.

nip/tuck. Well, that season finale certainly held surprises, shocks, and a turnaround for next season!

Watched Wedding Wars last night, Matt. Kinda of clever I thought, in that it used a humorous approach on the surface but was quite strong in its politics.

I agree with you. It had a stance and stuck to it, but served it with a sweet coating.

HBO has one of those First Look thirty minute puff pieces on DREAMGIRLS on tonight, and I got the DVR to record it. I'll watch it tomorrow.

I also have one of the True Life Adventure DVD sets to watch tomorrow and probably THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA. Looking forward to all of those programs.

It just hit me that I forgot that yesterday I said that I would post pictures from Cannibal: The Musical.  Well, I was only able to get a couple of pictures of all five of us "Indians" from backstage and a few others that won't make any sense ;) but here is one of us together.  As I wrote before...Be Afraid!  Be Very Afraid!! ;D

Thanks!  Actually, in real life, I do prefer the silver colors...platinum will do in a pinch, of course. ;)

...just $89 a night + tax...and you get a full kitchen and dining room!

I do recommend gettiing a room on the 3rd floor so that you don't have anyone on top of you, otherwise it can get a bit noisy.
