Especially for Mr. BK, who I believe will enjoy this album cover! I suspect this is exactly as his Christmas tree would look.

Nonsense! BKs tree will be festooned with garlands of ham hunks and cheese, and a pointy hat atop

The Media Check of Moi:

CD Player:  I'm going to give SPRING AWAKENING a listen to, but based on the short samples I've heard so far, it's not gonna be my cuppa.

DVD:  a couple of rare Muppet TV Specials:  JOHN DENVER AND THE MUPPETS--A CHRISTMAS TOGETHER and THE GREAT SANTA CLAUS SWITCH.  The former wasn't as wonderful as I remembered it being, but it's still charming.  The latter I haven't seen since it was last broadcast in 1970 on CBS.  It's a many generation copy but it's clear enough to enjoy the typical wacky Jim Henson humor.

TIVO:  THE CHRISTMAS EVE TRUCE from the history channel

My computer drive:  CHRISTMAS WITH THE MERRY CRICKETS!

DR JRand, you must use that as the title for your next television variety special!

I will do just that, DR DtM!

I helmed the choreography for MRS CRACHIT'S WILD CHRISTMAS RIDE, but was not the director - of record.  :P

A white fuzzy tree with green ornaments was probably right at home at 1757 N Orange Grove Av back in the 1960's when the old Universal International gang would drop by.

Sara Shane probably helped Allison with the decorations and mixing the drinks.

Back from Kroger, which was amazingly calm.  I'm glad I went in the morning today instead of anytime tomorrow or Sunday.  On the way, I stopped at Central Pastry for springerle :P for DH Richard and sugar cookies in the shapes of trees (green), stars (yellow), and bells (red); also paid for a stollen for Christmas morning that we'll pick up tomorrow.

I don't know where my above remark just came from...but maybe that is why my Snow White image is more Red Rose now.  ;)

DR GINNY you are getting things done in a very timely manner today.  Don't forget to check everything off the list as it's done!

Oh, I like the Beyond Therapy CD, too - we were finished mixing it and had put in all the sfx, but I wasn't happy with a couple of them, and one in particular was not even in its correct place and Vinnie had been playing with it until I was going to come in and fix it.  There was no way for them to fix it, since I had the masters, so Mr. Durang gave him his copy of the mix, which I'd sent to him as a courtesy.  Doesn't take away from his talent, only from his loyalty - after all, the project wouldn't have gotten done were it not for a certain someone, and it certainly wouldn't have gotten done with the integrity it was done with.  Hence, I always think a little show of loyalty is nice, instead of just caving in.

Yes, I'm quite calm.  I did notice at Kroger a lot of old ladies with scowls on their faces.  What do you suppose that's about?

Perhaps all this talk of "virgin births" has them more befuddled than usual.

I did try to write a one-act called SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN-ELEVEN once.

And of course, there's the famous SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN SAMURAI.

In any case, we should be feasting tonight, and then watching the 2-hour season finale of Doctor Who on the Sci-Fi Channel.

Tap-dancing Cybermen!  Twirling Daleks!  With a combo like this, who needs Dancing With the Stars!!!   ;D

I can't wait to see this!  I need to record it and watch the previous three episodes ::) before I get to this. :) But get to it I will! ;D
