Well it's not English!

Apart from you, who writes English here?

In America they haven't used it for years.
(which no doubt explains AJL's use of "Hung"!)

I about to sit down and watch Apocalypse Now...a movie I have never seen sadly!

You'll be sad by the end of it, believe me.  What a festive motion picture for the holiday season.   ;D

A reference from a DR Jose story!

Just finished watching autographed copy of KEVIN SPIRTAS: NIGHT AND DAYS dvd and enjoyed it very much! So much so that I also watched it again with the commentary which was quite fun!

Which reminds me that I still need to listen to the FIRST NUDIE MUSICAL commentary one of these days.

Today, I went to my parents' house and helped my dad load a pair of recliners into his pick-up truck and brought them over to my place.  They're about 20 or so years old, but they've been well cared for, so they don't look that old at all!

After that, I took a shower and went to the mall and gave my belated Cannibal closing night gift to Ryan (Indian #3) who works there.  He was so excited about getting it!  That was nice to see. :) He loved the pictures that I took (I posted them previously) and can't wait to listen to the 4-track CD that I made.

And last night, as I was ushering, Joshua (Indian #1...FYI, I was Indian #2) came to where I was ushering and picked up his copy!  Anyway, after I gave Ryan his copy, I went to Jacob's house (he was the Indian Chief) and gave him his copy!  We sat and chatted for over an hour in front of the fire place that was ablaze with a very nice and toasty warm fire.  I left his house and now I'm at home for the night...

...unless Chris (the Indian princess) calls and wants to meet somewhere.  Today, I was finally able to leave a message on his girlfriend's cell phone (he doesn't have a cell phone and he was the only straight drag queen Indian in our show!) and hopefully, he'll call tonight or tomorrow to get his belated closing night gift, then they'll all have been given out! ;D

I took a nice drive to Amoeba, where I traded in a ton o' stuff that had been building up.  I got quite a lot of credit, which I used up immediately getting several pricey DVDs and CDs.

Now I have a sweet tooth but the only thing I've got that's sweet is a chocolate donut and I'm not going there, as they have way too many calories and way too many fat grams.

I greatly enjoyed the 2 1/2 DVDs I watched tonight.

I began with A CHRISTMAS STORY. Sweet, nostalgic, winning in every way. Never tire of watching this at least once a year.

Next I watched MIRACLE ON 34th STREET, the 1947 original. Worked its magic on me as usual, and it was nice to see again since I didn't get to it at all last Christmas.

I'm confused.  Sometimes when I come to this site, I'm not logged on according to what my screen looks like, and yet I'm still  listed as though I've been using the site.

I'm now going to watch "Doctor Who" and "Battlestar Galactica."  I have three episodes of each to watch and my sister want's me to tape the last episode of "BG" for her.  I have my DVR connected directly to my TV, so I have to redo the cables so that I can record from the DVR.  Later!

THough I have a few more holiday offerings to watch, I put them aside for tomorrow and watched FOR YOUR EYES ONLY.

I have not traded up to the latest Ultimate Editions of the Bond films, but watching this excellent adventure, I can see why they're needed. The contrast and color on this one is in need of tweaking. The 5.1 sound is adequate (though I'm sure the new DTS tracks on the Ultimate Editions are a great step up).

Since CASINO ROYALE is slated to be released on DVD and Blu-ray in March, I was kind of hoping maybe some of the individual earlier Bonds might make their way to Blu-ray as well in the spring. I really don't want to rebuy these once again in standard definition. But I would quickly replace about 10 of the ones I already have with Blu-ray versions if they were available.

I noticed on the DVR that I had recorded A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE which I haven't watched yet. I may watch this tomorrow to break up the string CHristmas movies I have planned.
