DR Cason - I know exactly what you're going through. Alas, it's just a occupational hazard in most Arts-related college programs. When I was in my undergrad, I used to do a lot of accompanying for both instrumentalists and vocalists - and that was in addition to playing my own solo piano juries. The Music department exams and juries always ended up using the full exam period in order to make sure that there were enough performance spaces and accompanists(!) to go around. I still remember having to play a jury or two on the last day of exams, at the last hour allowed by the university. And when I accompanied for the Music Theatre department at Catholic University, I tied a "record" of sorts: in two days times, I had played for 15 full juries (a minimum of 10 songs per student), and FOUR graduation recitals (50 minutes of music, usually with an intermission)! *And I even remember having to rehearse at midnight with a student since that was the only time the hall was available.
