Speaking of Calendars, I think BK ought to consider a "Kritzerland" calendar one year.

Each month would feature a photo of some local spot that figures prominently in the trilogy.

What an interesting idea! I'll go through my old photos again. Some months ago I sent BK a box of photos from the Kritzerland days, including many programs of shows he was in. Maybe MUSICGUY has some photos from those days. Or maybe BK already has all he would need. Or maybe he's not interested.  :(

I just got a ticket to CURTAINS for March 1!   They are on sale earlier than they were supposed to be for AMEX cardholders. I can't wait to see it again.

Where did you buy them? I might try to get them for when we come up in March!

Also, sorry about the Wolvies, Ginny. Such bad sportsmanship by USC in that game.

Thanks, Rodz.  I've been following the Blue for almost 40 years and have never been so embarrassed.  This makes me proud, though.  It was painted on 8 of the jets that flew over President Ford's gravesite today.

I love the Joshie stamps!

I think our avatars would all make nice stamps, too!

Dan-the-Man,

Let's give him a han! (attempted homage to S.A. rhyme scheme?)

I think YOUR avatar, EDISAURUS, would make a most interesting stamp, indeed! I think many people would be QUITE PUZZLED over it! But a great stamp just the same.

Today and this evening I have made significant progress on my dreaded volunteer project.  Enough that I should be able to sleep better than I have the past several nights.

Goodnight!

I arrived home to wonderful treats in my mailbox. First, a music CD from a college friend I haven't seen in years who has started to write songs again. Then, DR MattH's package, which was the "Life After Tomorrow" documentary. I will watch that tomorrow :-) before handing it over to my producer friend.

And a very special batch of music from DR Elmore! We played the whole CD while I did the remained of my Xmas wrapping for friends in the UK who know not to expect anything until January because of my heavy December workload. I had never played music CD in our DVD player, but it has the best speakers, so we cranked it up.

Elmore's arrangements were supernal, and so beautiful that they brought tears to my eyes! I especially liked The Holly and The Ivy, that other DR's had mentioned. This will undoubtedly be at the top of my Xmas music playlist for many years to come. I absolutely love it!

So that was worth a 3 day wait! Thanks, Matt and Lar!

It's time for me to leave and get dinner.

I hope the stamps order goes through...it looked great on my computer screen and I think it'll be a neat thing to have and use!  But we'll see.

Nice to see the Rodzinski mug up and running again. It makes me smile to look at that wig.

I had some things recorded from last night that I wanted to watch and get off the DVR. I started with DIRT, the new Courtney Cox drama on FX.

It has gotten simply terrible reviews. I agree that the pilot was not the greatest, but I thought the show might have some potential. I liked some of the characters that were introduced, especially the schitzo photographer. The ambitious actor who had been in  a string of flops also seems to have some dramatic potential.

As I usually do, I'll watch another couple of episodes before I decide whether to add it to the playlist or dump it.

Watched last night's VERONICA MARS rerun. Oh, those were SNEAKY writers for the first mini-mystery arc of the season. I'm seeing the show with full knowledge of the rapist's identity and still can't believe I was fooled so completely.

Then, I watched THE KNIGHTS OF PROSPERITY. No, I didn't find it laugh out loud funny, but the characters were certainly fun and lovable, and in a weird way, I was rooting for them. With nothing else on at 9 on Wednesday night, I might as well watch it.

MEDIUM had a mother-daughter case, apt since a mother and daughter were murdered in the story. Not one of the greater or more perplexing mysteries during the series' run, but I liked that Ariel is having to deal with the downside of her gift. Should make the viewer realize that the gift is oftentimes a curse.

Hey, now JRand56 and I can get those much deserved Allison Hayes postage stamps!

I can't believe the USPS has ignored the public desire for her face to be planted on their mail!

I got a rather somber phone message today from Cal Bolder's daughter Denise letting me know that Cal's wife passed away. Unfortunately Cal's interview has still not been published (despite being at the magazine publishers for almost 2 years now) and his wife was looking so forward to seeing it.

But I will make sure all of Cal's kids get a copy when it does finally come out (fingers crossed for the summer issue).

And if anyone is interested, my interview with SURFSIDE 6s VAN WILLIAMS is in this months issue of CLASSIC IMAGES which is hitting store shelve and mail boxes right now!

He talks all about Surfside 5, The Green Hornet, Bourban Street Beat and his nude shower scene in TALL STORY.

Lots of good (read: beefcake) photos of him also for those who are into that sort of thing (and you know who you are!).

Shayne, I just clicked on your line and got the error message that it couldn't find the sight.  Maybe I'll try via Safari.

Ah, it came up via Safari so I guess AOL was still caching the error version.

Oh, I had SUCH a crush on him! The episode of THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW where he guest starred as Clark Rice was one of my favorites. He looked SO handsome in that army uniform and really filled it out.

Such a busy day today - I didn't jog, I didn't write, no time at all.  Tomorrow morning I'll jog first thing, then I have to pack and ship out the orders that have come in (a new amazon order today) and then I must get some writing done.  I won't join Vinnie to mix until mid-afternoon, and I don't need to be at reheasal tomorrow so I should have time to get things done.

I guess I'm going to head downstairs to bed now.

And it looks like I may get to have lunch out with best friend John tomorrow. He and his wife have been gone all week to the Orange Bowl. She was a Wake Forest graduate.

Welcome back, Rodzinski!

Now that Wayman Wong has more time on his hands, he's become the real man about town :)  - I spotted Wayman on New Year's Day sitting in one of the onstage seats at Spring Awakening.
